Just came back from the lake.

I was at Calling Lake for three nights.

I tried waterskiing for the first time. My arms, back, core, and legs ache. D: At least the lake water wasn't slimy or stinky.

I caught five walleye and one jackfish. One of the walleyes were 70cm and around 10lbs.

Everything is sunburned and covered in skeeter bites. Everything. emotion_awesome

Campfire food is delicious. Jeff's family brought home-raised beef tenderloin.

There was a den of six foxes. One of them kept hanging around our site. He was beautiful, slim, and his coat was half black instead of fully red.

No bears. YAY!

Time to get back to doing stuff. >>

I've always wanted to go waterskiing because my mom used to tell me about doing it when her uncle owned a boat, but then she would always tell me "it's too dangerous, you shouldn't do it! you'll get hurt!" so I'm kind of jealous.

Pssh. You won't get hurt if you do it right. The worst you can do is twist an ankle when your skis go under or if your limbs get stuck in the rope (and those only happens if you do something horribly, horribly wrong).
