[PRP] From One Ghoul to Another [Maddie/Alette]

"I AM TOTALLY HONORED!" Alette bellowed joyfully. "I should totally like, wear some green now, you know, just to sort of, like, represent you know. I do like cute things and you are totally cute and lettuce is cute - if a vegetable can be cute and you are totally the best."

She would have gone on for several more long minutes too if Maddie didn't stop her.

At this, Alette clutched her pigtails, looking vaguely aghast at the very idea.

"But," she said, "But I like my hair."

There was a pause, and then -

"But maybe temporarily it could be green, like, for a day or something, that would be pretty awesome."

Alette made a face. "Not a pushover," she informed Maddie delicately, waving her hands. "I just, like, you know, really like people."

She twisted her fingers together and beamed. "Good thing that I have you to talk to help me out! Right? Right?"

Maybe Maddie-senpai was right.

Alette thought long and hard about the question posed to her, twisting one of her braids in intense concentration, her brows furrowed; and then she said finally, "I think the first. Yes, totally the first. I want people to like, you know, think I'm awesome and stuff but I want to actually be awesome and stuff, y'know? I totally want people to like me."

She clasped her hands together and beamed at the other ghoul.

"Does this mean you're gonna look out for me?" she asked excitedly.
