NAME OF CLASS: First Aid 101
PROFESSOR NAME: Professor Cricket

General information: A general overview on basic illnesses a student might run into, as well as symptoms and quick fixes to things like breaks and deep cuts while on the go!

Each student is given a dummy to work on, though they may choose to partner up in fixing it.

Mechanics:
Roll 1 20-sided dice, what you roll is what your student gets to work with...

Dice Rolls and What they Mean!
1-4 - Broken Bone
4-8 - Fever
9-12 - Heat Stroke
13-16 - Hypothermia
17-20 - Lack of Bodily Function (such as breathing, pulse, etc) - this is unnaturally so.

After this, please roll 4, 4-sided Dice. Take into account their total and any repeating numbers

Total Results and their Meaning

1-6 - You do a rather poor job patching up your dummy, you might not want to try and heal anybody anytime soon!
7-12 - You do an average job, nothing extraordinary, but passable!
12-16 - Extra good work! Your student can now heal surface wounds!, but not repair HP! This means things like cuts and bleeding that might hinder another character can be patched up!

What Repeating Numbers Mean

No Repeating Numbers - You used just the right amount of supplies, good for you! Not wasteful at all.
Repeating 1s or 2s - You didn't use enough supplies, that's rather lazy and Cricket obviously disapproves of it.
Repeating 3s or 4s - You used too many supplies and that's wasteful! Naughty! Cricket might make you earn your supply rights back in a future class!

If you work as a group, split up the dice between yourselves as evenly as possible. So if you're paired up, each person rolls a 10 sided dice and you add up the results to get your dummy!

Then you split up your 4 sided dice to work on fixing it up!

Bonus Mechanics:
For every 3 times you attempt this course, your student may add +1 to their 4d4 dice roll's total to improve how well they patched up the dummy.

YOU LOSE/FINISH THIS CLASS WHEN...

- You are finished rolling both sets of dice and rping out the results. That means you have to START OVER to try again! You may do so in the same thread or a new one if you decide to attempt again at a later date.

First Aid, he didn't want to be here and it likely showed as he turned to his boilfriend next to him. Feet stretched lazily under the desk as he watched the other students collecting dummys to work with. "....You can pick.." Because he wasn't going to bother, much, unless the other pouted at him. Hands landed on the table in front of them and soon his head rested ontop of them.

For the moment he wasn't much in the way of effort, but he had gotten up and dressed so that counted right? Besides since him and Jory got a little more serious he had been ( sweetly conned into) joining the other in classes. Not that he minded considering it was more time with the other and generally they ate after.

Jory had found that positive reinforcement worked amazingly well in getting his boilfreind to put effort into his studies. He didn't nag, he didn't pester, it wasn't his place. But if he could get the other boil, if not excited, than at least not dreading classes, then that was good, right?

Seated next to Zaire, the boil was leaning forward, arms folded on the table, waiting for their teacher to lay out what they would be doing. He was bright eyed and attentive, the exact opposite of the mahamba beside him, but his tail was looped lightly over the other boil's much larger one. Until the job of dummy picking was passed on to him, then he was chuckling and getting to his feet, combing fingers through dark hair as he passed behind Zaire's chair to grab them both a dummy to work with.

It was slim pickings, but that didn't really mater. Jory at least was curios about how all the listed maladies might be treated. So he returned to the shared table with a dummy exhibiting fever symptoms. When h reclaimed his seat, he scootched it just a little closer to the Mahamba, leaning in so he could talk quietly with him. "We got fever."

Blue eyes stared out over the class, watching the other creeple bustle about and chattering with their partners. He however didn't need many words, his partner was communicating through touch to him. Much like always that meant more to him than noisy words, his thicker tail curled at the tip to squeezed at the other monsters tail. It was like their own little hand hold now, it was cute and he liked it.

As he dozed he lazily left it to his attentive boilfriend to be picking up what they were suppose to be doing, of course that didn't mean he didn't catch some of the professors words. Just they didn't hold a lot of meaning at the moment. When duty of getting their dummy ended well and even in a chuckle he peeked up, leaning back against the fingers in his hair as Jory retreated from their table. The phantom sensations of his boilfriends fingers in his hair made him restless and by the time he came back Zaire would be sitting up and smiling lazily to him.

Looking over the dummy a small frown was given, its cheeks were red and it was warm to the touch. These dummys were strangely, oddly, kind of creepy in how realistic they were. On a twitch of brow Zaire dipped in close to Jory to hear him whispering, glowing blues smirking to him as their nose tips brushed. A sway of tail Zaire looked up to the teacher, giving her a bored look as she walked by to leave a box of supplies on the desk top. "Fever..." The word was mocked back before a tanned hand pulled the box of supplies closer to them. That meant its temperature was elevated right, Zaire frowned a little not really sure of himself as he pulled out an ice pack. It was one thing to be dumb, but another entirely to look as dumb as you were in front of someone you cared to impress, "....wanna put this on its head?" Because it could be taken as a joke if he was wrong, but ice equaled cold and they needed to make it colder right?

After reclaiming his seat Jory twitched his tail back around Zaire's and tried to ignore the way his stomach did happy little flips at the lightest brush. This was class, and he had to concentrate!

He blinked as Zaire moved in close enough to brush his nose, freezing for a brief moment as cheeks paled a bit, but then he smiled, looking away, and lifted a hand to tuck a bit of hair behind his ear. He was used to the larger boil being a little more sedate during class, present, but not entirely active. Of course, over the last week or so he'd begun to show a very real effort in his school work that went beyond doing the homework Jory brought for him. The Afanc was really proud of him, and doubly pleased to learn they shared so many classes.

it made the day go by quicker, more fun.

So he took the ice pack, murmuring a thanks, and lay it on the dummy's brow. It seemed to be working, so it made sense that a second pack would work even faster. Or possibly even a third. That idea in mind, the afanc pulled another two from their supply pack and lay them on the dummy's chest. It did work, but Cricket threw him a rather hard look for having used so many. One would have been sufficient.

Catching the look, Jory made a small noise, promptly directed his gaze down into his own lap, and groped for Zaire's hand under the table.

This was class, he had to do everything he could to keep from falling asleep. Which meant for his poor, poor boilfriend that he was distraction number one. If this were a cooking class, or anything to do with water well it might be a different story. But it wasn't! So, his tail gave a squeeze to the smaller one and then a little tug.

The reaction from eskimo kiss was pleasing, leaning back in his seat Zaire watched as Jory blushed and turned to try and ignore him. But he forgot one thing, the tail around Jory's started to slide up and down, almost in a stroke to tease the other. Normally he wasn't this active in classes, sleeping consumed him, but lately he really wanted to try. Or at least stay awake to watch Jory, smiling he leaned up on the table a little and then the supplies arrived.

It was fun to be with Jory, even if they were in class. He was noticing more and more that no matter what they did, as long as it was together he was having a generally good time. It was a little frightening how much he was discovering he liked the others constant attention.

As Jory took the ice pack he leaned in to watch, the other boiled seemed to be thinking he was right at least it appeared so as he pulled another ice pack out. The second was placed and Zaire hesitantly took the dummy's temperate, it was dropping. As Jory put a third pack on he grinned, of course for them a normal temperature was cold right? So he thought the four packs of ice was a brilliant idea. Their teacher didn't seem to be as pleased though.

Oh well.

Catching the hand that looked for his Zaire smirked and bumped their shoulders. The temperate was down so technically they were done right? "...Wanna get out of here...I think...we're done?" Cricket walked by and while not pleased with so much wasted supplies gave them a pass.

When Zaire's hand found his beneath the table he gave it a very tight squeeze, eyes rather obviously directed down and away from Nurse Cricket. He didn't like being scolded, not at all, and even the warning look had been enough to send shoulders hunching.

For a long moment, even after Zaire spoke, the afanc was quiet. Frozen, almost, until their professor informed them that they had passed, despite the over use of cold packs. This had resulted in a small, sheepish squeak, and he looked suitably abashed until the ghost had turned her attention elsewhere.

"Yes please," he finally answered, a little belatedly, and turned baby blues up to Zaire. He very much wanted to leave the classroom now. Later, when he wasn't feeling so awkward, he'd be pleased about the pass. For now he just wanted to be elsewhere.

The hunched posture gave it away, Jory was upset. After a moment he slowly started to get up, hand tugging gently at Jory's around the time the other agreed to go. "Come on then.." The words were cooed with an edge as blue eyes landed on the nurse, Zaire obviously didn't like anyone upsetting Jory but she was a professor and there wasn't much he could do about it.

Ah well.

Tanned fingers curled tight around blue ones holding tight as he moved them out the door. "Wanna get some eyescream," Zaire offered with a glance down, that always made him feel better, so maybe it would work for his boil. If not the walk would do them both good, get them outside of the school until next class.

He let himself be drawn up, carefully avoiding the professor's eye as they headed towards the door. Even that, the act of leaving, was enough to ease some of the tension that had crept into his shoulders, and he squeezed his hand around Zaire's, tucking in close to his side.

The offer to get eyescream had him looking up, baby blues blinking up into a matching pair, and a soft smile followed. "Yeah." A snack sound good, and more than that, a quiet afternoon with Zaire would always be his top choice for free time. He couldn't ever seem to get enough.

Utterly twitterpatted.

"Good.." A smile was returned to the other monster before Zaire was leading them out to the gates of Amity. "I know a pretty...good place." On a yawn he selfishly wondered if he could con Jory into a nap after eyescream instead of their last block class.

Missing one couldn't hurt right?
