Hey girls!
Halloween is coming up and I have everything sorted, except for what I am doing for my hair.
keep in mind, I am a college kid, I have most of anything I could need, and I have no money to go out and buy anything XD
I got this Idea to be a creepy broken porcelain steampunk doll.
this is my costume (I am just using the dress and gloves)

I have everything sorted, but I need hair. I have been looking stuff up and I cant find anything. I was hoping you girls had some ideas (photo reference).
I want something in the steampunk/Victorian style that has volume, and curls, but isn't so out there that it looks misplaced on the costume or would look misplaced on a doll with that costume.
any ideas?

Why don't you do your hair kind of crimpled looking. It seems like it would matche the style, sof of like this or this. For better reference look up monster by paramore. Just pin the front behind your ears and let what's left crimped.

Why not curl it like she did? 1 2

Also, I saw that they wore a lot of goggles, why not buy some cheap swimming goggles and spray paint them gold, red, or silver? then all you need is to let your head down and wear them above your head like a headband?

ooo I like the second one. smile
the costume came with goggles, but I will probably end up not using them, considering I bought it just for the dress and the goggles wont stay on without the hat that came with the costume
