Why is Gaia's economy so horribly inflated? I remember 5+ years ago when getting to ten million gold was a solid achievement. It almost seems like moderators and site developers have done very little to adjust, judging from the shops' prices. Am I wrong? Can someone explain? It's like the free market runs Gaia now.

Moderators take care of Terms of Service violations, not site features. Really, devs do coding projects so it's hard to fault them. They don't make monetary decisions. just call me Jetty I just logged in for the first time in forever and was just like "...what." (Massively articulate, I know.) Gaia in this dystopian future has experienced catastrophic inflation. Even the most basic items require wheelbarrows full of gaian gold to purchase. Nubies are wandering around item less due to an inability to amass huge amounts of gaian gold. Gaia cash rules the day.
