xxHerbology: <A>
Ronna could have likely done a lot better in herbology; however, due to other time responsibilities (including dueling club, quidditch, and being a prefect) she only had so much time to study. As she felt that herbology was one of the less important subjects available, and due to the fact she had never been highly interested in the subject, she instead used her time to study for subjects she was weaker in but felt was more important in the long run (such as Healing). As a result due to her not quite as rigorous study habits in this particular class as she had for others and the fact she merely was not on the top of her game of testing that day, she only achieved an A.
xxTransfiguration: <E>
Ronna was never terrible at Transfiguration and the use of math in the performance of the spellwork for transfiguration always helped her do well in the subject. However, Ronna often found her questioning the ethics or point of the subject often, which held her back in doing as well in Transfiguration as say Charms. As a result she got an E on this exam. A very good score, but not perfect.
xxCursebreaking: <A>
Veronica never was particularly horrible at cursebreaking throughout her studies at Hogwarts, but she was never particularly skilled in the subject either. However, by keeping on top of her studies in this subject throughout her time at Hogwarts she was able to complete her NEWT with an Average score, continuing her academic trend in this particular subject from her OWLs.
xxHealing: <E>
Veronica would argue this was her hardest earned score out of all of her exams. While healing magic was something she was never naturally gifted at, she was determined to do well and absorb as much as possible from this class. Ronna would argue she had invested at least three times the amount of time and work towards this class as any of the others; however, her efforts paid off as she proved to be above average at healing magic with the extra work and effort and was rewarded an E for her time and studying for this exam.
xxWizard Law: <E>
While Veronica had always been interested in the law and had a knack for understanding the law (in many ways due to her interests and raising by her father who she was fairly sure had aimed to get her to be a lawyer since she was a toddler and the two often would discuss muggle law before her father died the summer before Veronica's fourth year). However, while her defense was well argued and strong, it lacked a certain amount of believably or strength when it was presented by Ronna. Thus the actual presentation of the otherwise flawless defense resulted the examiners to only give her only an E instead of the outstanding she would have otherwise gotten.
