About: Ryota is often misunderstood. He finds it very hard to get along with others at first, mostly due to his past, so he's often very lonely. He's been known to follow random Soquili, watching them, studying them, trying to figure out how to befriend them. Sometimes this target might catch a glimpse of Ryota's shadow at dawn or dusk, before he vanishes again into the black mystery of night, either giving up on figuring out the target, or deciding to try someone else who might be slightly more approachable.
At heart, Ryota loves to play. Jokes, Pranks, he's a real goofball when he's relaxed, but he doesn't often show that side of himself right away to every passing stranger. Having a strict honor code, he has to compare any possible companion against his code to make sure he will be able to enjoy time spent with others.
History: Discovered by humans when he was newly popped from his basket, He was quickly separated from his Mother, and hand-raised by humans. During those first days he tried to find his mother again, sneaking into the pen where the mares were kept. He had no luck however, and when the humans found him huddled along with the mares, they brought him aside from even other stallions.
He had a very different schedule from other Soquili and horses though. He was woke up at dusk to play and train until dawn, when he'd then go to sleep while the other horses and Soquili were awoken for their play and training. as he grew he became swift and silent as the shadows, and when he became an adult, the humans used him to run night missions.
For a while this was fun, doing the sneaky things, merging himself easily with a herd long enough to nick something from the humans and then slip out again to meet up with his human trainers, but after a while, it got boring. He longed for the company of other Soquili, ones he could actually stick around with, to play with whenever he wanted, not just dawn or dusk when himself or the others would be too tired to play. He made up his mind, and slipped out of his pen one night, disappearing into the shadows and the darkness, never to return to the human settlement.
Possible Plots:
1. Crack in the shell - Ryota finally goes up to someone, or someone comes up to him! Trying to figure out how to connect to others he's not so sure about.
2. I got me a Friend! - The first friend Ryota gains and lets see his goofy side.
3. Shadow in the daylight - Someone needs to convince Ryota that waking with the dawn isn't so bad
4. Second Shadow - Ryota's taking a real liking to a pretty lady and starts following her around everywhere, will she tell him off or will she help him make more friends?
