Someone on Ernya said people were pants-shittingly enraged over Tektek shutting down. I came to browse Site Feedback because that's where all the good drama always is when Gaia does something to piss people off. (well, besides releasing items that cost more than the monthly payment on my house.) I figured I'd stop by and say hi to you all. <3
Holy s**t. Never thought they'd pull that kind of self-rightous horseshit out of their a** with the bazillions of items they sell that are blatant ripoffs of copyrighted franchises.

There was one that sold out in like 38 minutes and another that sold out in 18.

And no I didn't know the Pokemon things were a limited release. I haven't paid much attention to items or the marketplace here in a long time. (I also adblocked the announcement bubble.) But I saw pictures of some of the Pokemon items in a few Site Feedback threads.
Tektek has had ads on it for years now. That is how I found Ernya in 2009. I think they're butthurt over Tekton starting his own avatar site.
I do kinda want to change my avatar though. Changed it to something in my closet. One thing this site always had going for it was how many just insanely creepy items they had available.
I dunno. I wish more people would join Ernya. That's my avatar home now. It's not without it's share pf problems (namely an incredibly small staff, very involved features that can be confusing newbies and less people donating recently) but it's such a tight community.
Lol, shameless plug. Will I get banned for mentioning another site? I don't even know the rules here anymore.

I came back to say hey and calculate my worth and potentially donate all of my stuff, and only then realized tektek had shut down. I Discovered by chance that yesterday was my 4000th day as a member of Gaia which was kind of funny. I definitely haven't changed my avatar in a couple of years...I can't decide if I care enough to or if I just want to say screw this and give everything to people who might enjoy it more.

Complete side note: The phrase "Pants on head retarded" is occasionally accurate. I have witnessed a client at work who likes to put pants (regular, shorts, or even underwear) on his head.
