Care of Magical Creatures - A
While Jess always loved animals, she found some animals more... approachable than others. She certainly wasn't planning on becoming a magizoologist, and she paid less attention her final year of the class, though she still found parts of it interesting. As a result, her exam showed her knowledge in some areas, but next to no knowledge in others because she slacked off.
Cooking with Magic - O
Jess found she had a legitimate talent when it came to cooking, and never minded doing homework and assignments for this class. All of it was useful and interesting to her, so she had no problems studying for it, and acing the exam, doing even better than she had on her OWLs.
Music - EE
Jess always liked music, and grew up listening to both muggle and magical genres. Still, she had no particular skill on any instrument, an only halfway decent singing voice, and a tendency to not properly complete her homework for the class. But she studied her little arse off anyways, and scraped up an Exceeds Expectations, to her surprise.
Wandless Magic - EE
Jess was continually shocked by what seemed like a natural talent for wandless magic. While she was no prodigy, she was motivated to study hard for her exam because she did well in the class to begin with. She was extremely proud of her EE score.
Charms - O
Charms was always one of Jess's favorite classes, and she'd excelled at it since she was a first year. She certainly studied for longer and more intensely than she did for her OWLs, but she still got an Outstanding.
DADA - A
Jess always loved DADA, but she didn't love studying for it and found it much harder after her OWLs. She still studied, but only got an Acceptable, to her disappointment.
Transfiguration - A
Jess hadn't even done that well during her OWL exam for the subject, and pretty much panicked and forgot the little she had retained from cramming for it. She considered herself lucky she managed to get an Acceptable, though it was almost a Poor;
