Care of Magical Creatures - O
Toby wanted to work with dragons, so of course the bulk of his studying was for this class and DADA. His notes were like works of art compared to his notes for other classes. He aced the exam, and was thrilled with his grade.
Cursebreaking - A
In theory, Toby really liked the class. Practically, he wasn't that great at it. He knew he wasn't going to do so well on the exam, so he didn't really try that hard. He did surprise himself slightly with his Acceptable, as he had thought he might have done worse.
Music - EE
While he had always had some talent for the guitar, regularly practicing was not something Toby ever partook in, nor was actually attending every Music class. His homework was shoddy at best but he studied hard for the exam, wanting to do well on it.
Wandless Magic - A
Toby was always jealous of his twin for being better at Wandless than he ever was. He continued to do 'decent' in the class, but he didn't have the motivation for it that his sister did. He was happy enough with his Acceptable after some half-assed studying.
Charms - A
Toby slacked in Charms after his OWL exam, and not seeing it as an essential for his choice in career after Hogwarts, didn't really care what his final exam in it ended up being. He got an Acceptable, though he probably could have skirted an EE if he worked harder.
DADA - O
Toby always loved DADA and the class came easily to him. He also needed it to work with dragons in any way shape or form, given the dangers. He studied as hard as he did for Care of Magical Creatures and it paid off.
Transfiguration - EE
Always having been pretty good at Transfiguration, Toby managed to keep his exam grade the same as it had been when he took his OWLs. Of course, it took a lot of intense studying and practice, but he got the grade he wanted.
