So when I joined this guild, I still identified as a girl because I didn't know what else to do, but that was before I figured out that my actual gender identity is a thing that exists that I can point to (even though it's still hecka confusing and as fluid as the freaking ocean). I'm pangender/genderfluid/generally genderqueer. To me it means that I feel like all the genders and none of them at the same time, but at any given time I may feel more like any of them. It's hard to explain, but long story short, since I figured that out I've been really hesitant as far as activity in this guild because I felt kind of like I'm intruding in a place that I don't belong. And if it had been post the gender understanding, I probably wouldn't have joined because I definitely would have felt like I was intruding and I respect the exclusivity enough that I don't want to compromise it. But since I was here already and relatively active I didn't want to just up and leave so I ended up just not posting. So I guess the question is: should I not be here?

Maybe the moderator of this guild will decide. I think the guild only for girls is intended for girls who feel more comfortable to talk to girls only and topics that girls are experienced in like giving birth, having period... but you know we talk about many different topics too ... And anyways. A guy could be in this forum pretending to be a girl because... we are all hiding behind our avatar...

But that's true. Still it's not cool and I don't want to be "that guy".

I believe you belong her, because I feel like this can be a safe space for you, and you still have the issues and problems that women who identify as a cis-female does.

Hello, Hello This has an issue which has been raised quite frequently since the founding of this group and is one which has never been assigned a yes or no answer. When Guilds were still quite active I took part in large recruitment drives for the Guild and would frequently be contacted by non-Cisgender Gaians who would be concerned they don't belong here. Personally I have always considered this a guild for people who Identify as female regardless of how infrequently. It was designed as a safe haven for females, or more precisely non-males. To be picky about who fits in to that description would be hypocritical to my eyes. So long as you are here with honesty, integrity and a desire to help others, you belong. If you care enough to worry wether you belong, you belong. There have been arguments from other Captains and VC's that it only matters wether or not you were born with a v****a as to wether you can be a member. Personally I would disregard that and say it is all about personality and wether you want to belong to our family or not. As long as you are here with sincerity then you should be here. ~ heart ~
