[PRP] - Bored, Entertain Me (Lass and Ruth)

Dust clung to air as the pen tapped against the long wooden table as Lass continued to skim through a few pages of an older looking tome before slamming it shut and pushing it away from her. Glancing over at the stack that were still unread she flopped back into the chair and groaned as she rubbed her forehead with her fingers. So many more books and Lass had still found nothing of particular interest, and the less she found the less entertained she was.



Getting to her feet Lass left the stack of books on the table as she made her way outside, bracing herself as the light made its attempt to blind her. Bored, she needed something or someone to entertain herself with to ignore the fact that she was failing in her research. Maybe someone to antagonize or fluster to the point of getting red in the face screaming at her, not that Lass had really any true reason to hate on some stranger. The thought was just merely amusing to do so.

The Library wasn't exactly Ruth's second home. Oh she spent time in the building, reading, researching, butt-watching, or what-have-you but it wasn't as if she made it a point to be seen there. At least not enough that she would be associated with it. The Violet persona couldn't be this tragic ghoul who went unnoticed in the crowd for how plain she was if there was no crowd to be unnoticed by.

Maybe that's why Ruth, in stubborn defiance of the identity, made sure she was hardly ever in a crowd when there wasn't anything particularly interesting going on. The blonde reaper was carrying a stack of books, one high enough to obstruct her view, less because of a love for reading and more so that what creeple saw was the stack and not her. The downside though is it obstructed her view as well.
