ive had a great deal of trust when it comes to my gf. i dont feel a need to look through her phone. ive had suspicions she's been looking through mine and today she took it out of my hands while we were getting lunch. i was trying to make plans when i visit my parents, so she has a ride and such. she's pissy with me because i was talking to her mum about her... something im not supposed to do. i haven't done anything that would provoke her to look through my messages. i'm doing as she told me and not talking to her mum about the negative sides of my gf. im talking to my buds about it. =_______=

Something I learned about locking your phone while in a relationship is that it ruins trust.

My ex-roommate, Aaron, kept his phone locked but he was t/sexting other girls while he was in a relationship and tried to claim he wanted privacy to his girlfriend (who was dumb enough to believe that and thought he was loyal even though he wasn't).

As her mom though, I'd imagine she knows all of this already though.
