He is right-true Christians should be united together. What is troubling though is how teachings differ from each branch, especially when it comes to Catholicism. Not all churches teach how to truly become a Christian.
I think we should all go back and read history again so we do not forget why the reformers split with the Catholic church. The split was not over fringe doctrines but as you say how to truly become a Christian. There can not be any true unity where God is not responsible.
