I've been lacking company since Tank died. Instead of going the typical kitten route, I fell in love with a black, long haired, 17 year old boy named Boo. My old cat lived to be 23, so however many years this boy has left, I just want him to spend them in a happy home. <3

I'll post pics when we get back, he's beautiful.

Aw, thank you. It was just meant to be. Our local no-kill shelter has senior discount weeks, and I met boo and fell in love with him when I was applying for a job. I originally put my name on the kitten list but when I met him I realized that most likely he would spend the rest of his life in that shelter because people are weary of adopting an older cat, like you said. My old cat lived to be almost 24, so I was like.... You know what? He is super healthy, super affectionate and is still playful... He would make the greatest pet and he could live out the rest of his years happily. On my way out, I learned it was senior discount week. 25 bucks got me him, a bunch of toys and a free vet check up. It really was just meant to be. <3
