Name: Tota'keke Personality: He is a gentle stallion who lost his former mate in a terrible tragedy. Since then, he has wandered the Soquili lands helping those who needed aid, but keeping his head closed. There are times he stresses out over silly things but for the most part he is calm, kind, and generally a lonely kind of character. History/background: I'll be honest--he's actually based on an SoA of mine. I got permission from the colorist to have him made here in Soquili. Tota'keke is a strong-willed healer. Though he doesn't enjoy fighting, he has had his fair share of battles. However, he would rather heal others over fighting; he has a doctor mentality: he'll heal anyone who needs healing; anyone, that is, except Skinwalkers. He's heard many a horror story of Skinwalkers and if he sees one (should he recognize it), he'll back off or run away rather than fight. Why they would join the herd: ICly he happened upon the herd and felt a sense of belonging. He has been alone for a long, long time and would enjoy the company of other unicorns; that, and he would feel that he has a purpose and is useful to the herd in some way. What could they bring to the herd? Tota'keke would be best as a healer. He is more or less trained in the greatest of healing magics, but isn't officially trained--kind of like those people who aren't certified doctors but know all those herbs and natural medicines that can cure illnesses or poisons. Because he is a well-traveled unicorn, he has a vast knowledge of the Soquili lands, so he would be able to teach the unicorns about other types of Soquili should they run across any; well, except for that of Skinwalkers, as he has never met one. Plots: I don't have anything yet, but I figured in perhaps a meta-plot he could be one of the many healers aiding the warriors in the herd. Anything else? Nope!

Quote: Name: Libra Personality: As a trained healer beyond just the powers of their horns, and a solemn, reserved mare in general, Libra (or Libby as her sister frequently calls her) prefers to stay in the heart of the herd, and gets nervous when left alone. History/background: Libra and her Twin Sister were just entering the cusp of adulthood, having been trained from birth by their mother to take after her as healers of mind, body, and spirit, when the herd came under attack. The Twins had been separated as part of her mothers final ceremonial trial to accept them in as full fledged healers. Libra, as the eldest, was taken into the isolated area first, swearing oaths of purity of blood (so their line's horns would never falter in their potent healing powers, she may never be lifemated to a stallion of anything less than pure blood: if a stallion of such quality should for whatever reason not be found, she may dally with stallions with healing horns but never love long.), of loyalty to the herd (to stay with it and protect those within), and the Hippocratic Oath to do no harm. She was then left in her secluded, hidden grotto to meditate over night by her mother, who left to go give her sister her oaths, with the words of a mothers pride and that she would collect her in the morning as a fully fledged Healer. The sounds she heard that night in the darkness left her scarred, afraid to leave her hidden grotto, hopeful that this was in some form part of the test. The next morning, it was her Sister who came to her -- mother had never come, and instead their father had found her exploring the area near where her mother had left her to wait her turn, before they came and found Libra. Confused and upset as to why her mother never came, still thinking, hoping that this was some part of the test, Libra ran to the herds territory, and had to be dragged away in frantic tears and sobs from the bloodshed, her sister once more told to stay behind. As their father took them to search for survivors who ventured off, leaving the bloodied ground, Libra was closed off and fearful of others, untrusting and at times angrily lashing out, sticking as close to possible to her father and frustrated by her twins constantly venturing off to make new friends. When the survivors of the herd were rediscovered, she quickly latched herself in the heart of it -- she never wanted to be left alone ever again, as if her being alone somehow killed all those people, including her mother, as if she had convinced herself to leave and go in, she could have changed what happened some how. Why they would join the herd: Was originally part of it What could they bring to the herd? Trained in physical therapy, medicine creation, as well as coming from a long line of those with a gift for healing with unicorn magic, trained from a young age to do so. Plots: • She'd likely take up the role as a teacher of medicine and healing, helping others advance their own abilities and increase the amount of healers available. • She's terrified of being left alone, since the last time she was so many people got killed, so there would likely be plots based around that • She's sworn an oath of keeping the line pure as possible, and since it was one of the last things she promised her mother, its something she plans on keeping -- Meaning she'll only ever breed with Pure unicorns or, if push comes to shove, half unicorn with the horn or an alicorn, though she'd only do so for a damn good reason that'd help the herd in some way OTHER than just "more babies"). However she's also sort of a**l about it: She wont lifemate a stallion who doesnt know his pedigree to at least three generations back (his Great Grandparents) as pureblooded unicorns, and if anything out of the ordinary came out of it she might break it off (or insist it becomes an open relationship as to keep her from breaking her oath completely while keeping her relationship) • Will actually try to convince at least a few of the original members to make the same oath of purity (or at least a similar one) : while she has no hate towards those who aren't, she didn't see many pure blooded unicorns in her travels and worries that, perhaps, pureblooded unicorns were dying out.. (*Note: Orion has mentioned swearing this oath himself in an rp already since timeline wise he is younger than the twins.) Quote: Name: Cassiopeia (Cass or Cassy for short) Personality: Cass, unlike her more homebody sister, prefers the life of a wandering healer, and frequently ventures from the herd. Friendly and charismatic, her favorite thing to do is make more friends and be in the thick of the conversation. History/background: Like her sister, Cass was raised from her basket into the role of a healer. Unlike her sister though, she was always a bit of a wiggle worm -- she enjoyed her training, but she frequently got distracted by the world around her, never being as serious or driven as her sister. However, she was excited to finally be near this final stretch, and didn't sleep at all the night before out of her excitement -- soon the two of them were going to be part of their mothers order. Sure they'd still be getting training and would start off continuing to work along side her, but they'd be able to take on more cases themselves She had been taken outside the herd along with her sister so she would not see where the other was to be taken (not that she didn't already find the 'sanctuaries' that had been created for her mother to hold this part of the ceremony in her wanderings through the herd). Her sister, being the older of the two, followed her mother back into the territory and vanished into the forest. It did not take long for Cass to be bored of standing in a location without any sort of goal -- at least with her meditation there were mantras she was supposed to go over, her knowledge to repeat to herself. This was when she noticed a scent in the shifting wind, and ventured off, careful to keep within earshot of where she was left, to find its source, finding a nice growth of honeysuckle -- a plant not only sweet to smell and taste, but it was a valuable gargle for sore throats, and a paste made from it was good for rashes and inflammation. Collecting some of the strong smelling flowers would be good for the medical stores. Just as it was good for masking her scent from the hunter that came for them that night.. The mare, her sleepless excitement the night before finally catching up to her, dozed off in the honeysuckle, only to wake in the morning to the sound of her father calling for her and her sister. Clueless to what had happened, Cassy lead their father to the little hidden away shelters, finding the one Libby was in. It wasn't until later that day she found out what actually happened. Cassy tried to help with her sisters hurt, and draw her out of her shell and trauma, but as Libby collapsed into a state of needing to be around familiar people and things, Cassiopeia threw herself into new experiences to help her through her own pain. This lead her to making friends (Some of which that normally wouldn't be smiled upon by the rest of their old herd.) Why they would join the herd: Originally part of it. What could they bring to the herd? Like her sister, she got all the training as a healer. Unlike her sister, she didn't get traumatized or swore any oaths -- the experience was more a sad period that still admitedly hurts, but didn't leave any permanent traumas to her other than getting it in her mind that Wandering is a good thing since it kept her alive and unharmed. And thus, she's good at making alliances and finding new members for their herd, and most likely to come back bearing gifts for all of her friends (Which is most of the herd) Plots: • Her habit of wandering and being open minded about making friends can lead to trouble.. Or lead to her being a good bringer of allies. • While her sister is sort of super super careful about her pairings and prefers to be lifemated or well planned and methodically decided flings, Cassy's way of coping is to throw herself into things passionately, and tends to prefer open relationships and friends with benefits. And with no oath, it means she may Anything else? I may someday get their dad He's currently out trying to 'find' himself after losing his mate since he never really fully recovered from it. He was only a second gen member of the original herd as well, so felt out of place at times growing up back then since he wasn't so pure white, but the newer herd would feel far more welcoming.

It will take a while, since I'm busy with other things and slow at rp lately, but I'm sort of building a plotline where Wretch builds a bit of an army to attack the herd. Look out for updates (but don't hold your breath - because I am slow XD)
