Name: Treoris – Dream; Ilusion; Phantasmal; Sleep
Nicknames: Tre, Treo, ‘Risling (his mum calls him that, don’t do that – hefty sighs, eye-rolling, and other general signs of displeasure may ensue)
Gender: Male
Age: A handful of 100s, but essentially 15.
Faction: Monster
Race: Gold Dragon – Aberrant
Treoris and the rest of his family are offshoots of a clan whose line slowly adapted to allow them to live in the climates that they had migrated to, sans the usual influence of the draconic council of their faction. It has resulted in both individual physical characteristics, as well as a rather destructive (although long-fused) temper, earning this clan comprised of normally sagely, well-tempered dragons the nickname of ‘Berserker Paladins’.

Natural Ability:
Volcanic Plunge: Due to living in gaseous climates, coupled with their traditional fire-breathing abilities, Treoris’ clan, and thus the boil himself, is possessed of strong lungs and a natural resistance to extreme heat and fire itself - pretty typical for a species known to hatching their eggs on open flame. To temper this, however, he is especially susceptible to all things cold.
Ice cubes make him upset. You’ll never see this boil get a drink on the rocks.
Personality:
Somber – Treo tends to be a rather serious individual. Not to say that he’s depressed, but smiles and laughter are not his immediate reactions to mirth or pleasure. He takes his studies very seriously and strongly believes that he has a purpose in life. Not given to parties, or frivolous behavior, this dragon boil is an unabashed introvert – though not shy, he tends to give off a somewhat socially awkward aura.
Guarded – As an introvert, Treo doesn’t precisely solicit contact from other creeple, but much of this is intentional. He is a firm believer in absolutes, and living creatures are often random and unpredictable, something that bothers him deeply. At this point in his development, he believes that emotional connections will tie him down and cloud his judgement. Also due to the hereditary temper he has inherited from his sire’s line, he has no particular desire to hurt someone that he has grown to care about.
Artistic – Instead of reaching out to others, Treo looks to paint, canvas and aesthetically pleasing balances of symmetry and asymmetry in both organization and architecture to display his own inner questions, convictions, turmoil, and emotions. Some days depending on what is going on in his own head, he will completely re-arrange his room, making it look as though a completely different student is now occupying it.
Opinionated – Just because he doesn’t offer them up his opinions unsolicited does not mean he does not possess them. In fact, Treoris holds very staunch ideals on anything and everything that he has encountered at any given length. An observer and a researcher, he will not jump immediately to conclusions unless he feels he had been given valid cause to do so. This adolescent holds himself to a set of internal rules and regulations, and judges the rest of the world through what he believes to be right and wrong. Those who merrily traipse over where he views that line to be should prepare themselves for rage.
Physically-inclined – Actions speak louder than words. This is one of the rules to which Treo holds both himself and the world accountable. If he believes it necessary, he will act without explaining himself, or the approval of others. Though he is well-spoken when he chooses to speak, he believes words, and the wisdom that they can impart, are tools to be used only when necessary – while outward execution of a thing bears much more weight. Suffice to say he is fond of experiments, diagrams, and physical representations of concepts.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? This one is simple. It simply seemed the logical thing to do. Gold dragons encourage growth in knowledge and experience as though it were second nature. The appeal of Amityville is that instead of merely apprenticing their youngling out to a mentor, and then repeating the process as needed, they could just send him to school to study under multiple professors, and interact with a whole host of other races. Treoris didn’t even have to be talked into it, as a lust for knowledge is an inherent part of who he is. He’s here for the books…and minds that hold eons of experience. If anyone has the making of a star pupil, it’s Treo.
FEAR Ability:
Righteous Berserker (The Charge) : Treoris’ FEAR attack usually goes off when enraged. It tends to be a series of fire-imbued strikes - claws or the taloned gloves he possesses set aflame and controlled by his power. The downside is he is usually in thrall to blind anger - whether if it be at a person, or a situation, when he strikes, leading him to sometimes miss, hit something other than the intended target, and occasionally, if they get too close or try to stop him, an ally.
