NAME OF CLASS: First Aid 101 PROFESSOR NAME: Professor Cricket
General information: A general overview on basic illnesses a student might run into, as well as symptoms and quick fixes to things like breaks and deep cuts while on the go!
Each student is given a dummy to work on, though they may choose to partner up in fixing it.
Mechanics: Roll 1 20-sided dice, what you roll is what your student gets to work with...
Dice Rolls and What they Mean! 1-4 - Broken Bone 4-8 - Fever 9-12 - Heat Stroke 13-16 - Hypothermia 17-20 - Lack of Bodily Function (such as breathing, pulse, etc) - this is unnaturally so.
After this, please roll 4, 4-sided Dice. Take into account their total and any repeating numbers
Total Results and their Meaning 1-6 - You do a rather poor job patching up your dummy, you might not want to try and heal anybody anytime soon! 7-12 - You do an average job, nothing extraordinary, but passable! 12-16 - Extra good work! Your student can now heal surface wounds!, but not repair HP! This means things like cuts and bleeding that might hinder another character can be patched up!
What Repeating Numbers Mean No Repeating Numbers - You used just the right amount of supplies, good for you! Not wasteful at all. Repeating 1s or 2s - You didn't use enough supplies, that's rather lazy and Cricket obviously disapproves of it. Repeating 3s or 4s - You used too many supplies and that's wasteful! Naughty! Cricket might make you earn your supply rights back in a future class!
If you work as a group, split up the dice between yourselves as evenly as possible. So if you're paired up, each person rolls a 10 sided dice and you add up the results to get your dummy!
Then you split up your 4 sided dice to work on fixing it up!
Bonus Mechanics: For every 3 times you attempt this course, your student may add +1 to their 4d4 dice roll's total to improve how well they patched up the dummy.
YOU LOSE/FINISH THIS CLASS WHEN... - You are finished rolling both sets of dice and rping out the results. That means you have to START OVER to try again! You may do so in the same thread or a new one if you decide to attempt again at a later date.

Hayden had taken many of the classes available, and learned many different things, but she hadn't done the first aid class yet. She knew she wanted to however every time that she went to sign up she saw other more interesting classes available. Already she could summon little Trashbots, create a scary aura, create a paper creature, and alter her appearance some. Although those weren't always the most useful things for battles, they were fun, and that was what mattered right? However Devoss insisted that she finally go and take first aid, which was why the pair of them walked into the classroom for the first aid class.
There were dummies everywhere, but it seemed more students then dummies.
"You should partner up." Devoss suggested.
Hayden rolled her eyes but decided that he wasn't wrong. She hadn't made many friends yet, and this was a chance at that. "If anyone wants to pair with me I'll be at the dummy over here." she said as she walked towards one of the dummies, if no one came that would be fine but she wouldn't mind working with someone else for a change.

Pelagion didn't have much choice with which class he was involved in. It was a good thing he was generally pretty easygoing, subjectwise, and good with partners, otherwise he would have walked right out of the class. But no, he couldn't actually do that. He had to stay in class this time, otherwise he'd get s**t from his family and various other people and that was too much effort to deal with.
So, he went to class. So, he partnered up.
Finding nobody particularly keen to partner with a delinquent lazy Reaper, he went to the only other person unattended. “Hey.” he said, hands idly placed in his coat, “Sup. I guess we're partners.” He looked over the dummy briefly, before noticing – quite suddenly – the small, fluffy, cute thing. Minipet or familiar? Pelagion didn't much care either way.
A smile flicked over his face as he kneeled down and removed a hand from the confines of his coat. He offered it to the fox to sniff. “Hello, there.” he said. Quickly, he took inventory of what he had on him – no treats, clearly he had to remember to bring more with him. No brush, no toys, nothing of value to a small creature. Ah well, he'd make do with petting – sometimes that was all a pet wanted. “Is he your pet, or your familiar, or what?”
Or what was actually a good question, though a small fluffy student wouldn't be in their natural form in class.

Pelagion smiled wryly at the fox thing. “Sorry.” he said, not offering any more of an apology than that. He figured it was a pretty reasonable mistake to make – one he had made before, and one he would continue to make. He stood again, nodding at Hayden. “I'm Pelagion. I'm an illusionist.” he said. He was glad to hear that the familiar would 'get over it' – he wouldn't want such a lovely creature to hate him. That, he felt, would be unfortunate.
He looking at the dummy askance. It was certainly an odd thing, this practice dummy – what was supposed to be wrong with it? Apparently, Hayden knew. “Hypothermia, huh.” Pelagion knew a bit about that – his mum was a frosty sort of undead, and so cold was kind of her thing. And thus, a little bit of his thing. “Okay.” he started going through supplies, getting out the things he was pretty sure was relevant to hypothermia...
Like a heat pad. Like several heat pads. Like a blanket. And cocoa – always cocoa... cocoa was amazing, wasn't it... Obviously they needed that. Oh and this and this and this...
Pelagion kept pulling out more supplies – he loved being warm, and clearly so would their 'patient'. Finally, he turned to Hayden – he needed someone to help him put all the supplies to use, after all. “You think we have enough?” he asked, his arms full of heat pads and water bottles...

Pelagion didn't budge a facial muscle when the teacher informed them that they had used too much supply in the process. He waited for her to move on, and then turned to Hayden. “She's wrong.” he said, perhaps a little defiantly, “We used just enough – they were warm, weren't they?” A shade too warm was better than too cold, after all. At least, that was how he thought.
He looked over at Devoss, pleased to see that the little familiar was not angry at him. Feline... or, he supposed, vulpine... minis sometimes took a while to warm up to people, and were a little tempermental, but, given time, they changed their attitude. Or they didn't. He figured it was probably the same with familiars, too, though familiars had an advantage in that they were actually, well, intelligent.
“Hmm?” There he was again, paying more attention to a familiar than their Reaper. She was all right, too – and she had pretty good hair. “Oh, yeah. Sure.” he wouldn't mind trying that again. It wasn't unfun, this class activity, and he could see it being useful. “Yeah, I'll do...” the bell shrieked, signalling the end of that class, “Another.” he gave the montrous device a seriously irritated look. “Next time, I guess.” he added, actually regretful. “Tell you what, you read up on this stuff, and I'll bring FEAR biscuits.” he smiled a small, flickering smile at Devoss, though the questions were directed at, of course, Hayden. “Sound good to you?”
This was, according to Pelagion, clearly the perfect way start a productive working arrangement with someone – bribe their minis. Productive working arrangements meant less effort spent in figuring out skills and dorm locations and all those other annoying things, and it also meant that he actually got to know people, which was a good thing.

Pelagion actually deigned to come to the next class. In normal circumstances, he wouldn't have, but clearly he was needed to help his partner, and so that meant that he couldn't just brush it off. Hayden needed him.
So he packed some Fear treats, brushed his hair, and went to class. “Hey.” he greeted, coming over to their dummy and hoping the teacher wouldn't notice he was slightly late. “Broken bones, huh... I guess that means we've got to, uh, splint that broken bone, huh?” he said, “So that it grows back right and doesn't hurt 'em so much?” he started to get out supplies, “that would be best, right?”
