Wandering around the school had left the tiny horsewoman quite hungry. It was with good fortune then, that she would stumble into the home economics class, drawn in by the sweet smell of baked sinnamon rolls. It was a bit disappointing to find a lack of meat to sate her more carnivorous diet, but a nicked sample off someone else's desk had convinced her about them.

She had never baked before, and all these sophisticated machinery was very confusing. And the process of making the dough too. What, couldn't she just kill things and roast them over the fire?

The confused look would not go unnoticed, and she would be quickly redirected towards the pantry to retrieve a set of ingredients to make the dough.

There was a lot of peering over at the neighbours to figure out what they were doing, but the dough was finally kneaded and ready to be dusted with sinnamon sugar. Gzifa took a whiff of the brown powder, recognizing the smell to be what drew her into the classroom in the first place.

Well, there was no such thing as too much. The horsewoman dusted the sinnamon sugar over the dough liberally, turning it into a brown as dark as her complexion. It was no surprise then that the dough would become too dry and eventually crumble, becoming utterly useless.

And so she was sent to gather another batch of ingredients. There wasn't any left in the pantry where she last got them, and the gnomes wandering about offered no help other than their snickers at her failed attempt. Gzifa scrunched up her face in displeasure, turning around and began sniffing for the ingredients. Nothing.

There was a strange tall box standing at the back of the kitchen, and the horsewoman simply grabbed the handle to pry open the thing. Oh look, there was what she had been looking for. And more than enough of it too.

She tried to be more careful with adding the sinnamon sugar this time, but the horsewoman couldn't help but want for the dough to taste its maximum sinnamon sweetness. Alas, the dough was rendered too crumbly once more, leaving it to be dumped into the bin in frustration. This is why they horsemen don't bake.

The pantry had been emptied out since she had last checked, which only meant that she would turn back to the strange ice machine at the back of the kitchen for the ingredients once more.

“Oh Screechart, that's still a little too much,” the teacher chided, watching the horsewoman fail at seasoning the dough with the right amount of sinnamon sugar for the third time in a row.

Taking hold of the sinnamon sugar can, the teacher poured out a good estimate for Gzifa to reference from.

And back into the kitchen she went, grabbing another set of chilled ingredients out of the refrigerator.

She was very careful to follow the instructions this time, slowly patting the can to get the appropriate amount of sinnamon sugar onto the dough, stopping just before it got out of hand once again. Finally! Chucking the tray into the oven, she could finally wash her hands that were sticky from all the baking preparation.

Gzifa watched over the oven with awe and wonder, unable to fathom how this box could contain a fire in it. From the window, she could see the lumps of dough turning a rich golden-brown, and the smell of sinnamon wafted throughout the room.

From the corner of her eye, she could see the gnomes that had been snickering at her hiding under her workstation. She knew that look on those faces.

“No. Mine.” she kicked at one of them, shooing them off.

That alone was enough to start the huge brawl, the horsewoman yelling incoherently as the gnomes leapt onto her and tore at her hair, the other clinging onto her leg. Tearing one of them off her, she threw him straight into the spice rack where he began coughing and wheezing for inhaling the black pepper.

Knowing it was probably not wise to murder them with her knife in front of everyone, the horsewoman settled for the spare baking tray, sending it crashing down on the gnome's head.

Then began the mad chase around the classroom, the horsewoman now armed with black pepper and assorting baking equipment was hurling anything and everything she could get her hands on at them.

There was a loud crash where they collided into a pile, the brawl far from over as each of the tiny people involved screamed and scratched at each other.

“DIE DIE DIE,” she yelled at each one of them, crashing the baking tray over their heads in rhythmic fashion.

And with one last wheeze, the last of the gnomes was finally knocked out cold, leaving the horsewoman standing victorious over their limp bodies.

Ding! went the oven, freshly baked sinnamon rolls the prize for her grand victory.

Somewhere in the room, the professor was probably crying at the utter mess and havoc created.
