Professor Selene has chosen you to come to the human world and help her make a few things right. There seems to be an epidemic of missing Halloween candy, and the human children are in need of your help! It's time to try and make some Halloween magic!

While a few weeks ago Kwasi would have been sweating at the thought of a field trip to the human world, he was now rather casual about the whole thing. Oh yeah, no big deal, he'd been there before and it was fine. In fact, he had swaggered slightly as he strolled into the classroom. This would be a piece of luxury cake with icecream on top.

A costume? Easy! Kwasi knew all about humans now. They liked uhh ... he dug through the boxes .... they liked ... full body sized realistic cockroach costumes. Yes, this was perfect. Struggling into it, he stopped to check himself out in front of the mirror for a couple of seconds. Cockroaches were such handsome bugs, and Kwasi couldn't help but admire their bristly legs. Of course, whenever he pointed it out to other people, they usually just gave him weird looks. It was hard sometimes, getting others to consider the aesthetic ideals of bug-based monsters. How wide was too wide a thorax? Eventually he remembered that he was supposed to be in class, and that other students were watching. Walking - well - waddling slightly due to the costume, over to the portal, Kwasi stepped through into the human world.

Arriving in the human world, Kwasi was a little startled as to how different it looked from the last time. It was wider, and cleaner, and there were separate houses. It actually looked like they had normal streets as well as dirty back alley/underground temples. Who knew a whole entire other plane of existence could have such varied and colourful locations?? Kwasi accepted the bag of replacement candy that was given to him, then shuffled off down the street, movement still slightly limited by his outfit.

Noticing that other students were just going up to houses on their own, he quickly turned and scuttled up the front path of the nearest one. A small muffled scream from inside the house and the pulling of the curtains indicated that the residents might have noticed a man-sized cockroach wobbling up their path, but Kwasi failed to notice. Instead, he dropped a few candies into their jar, and admired the artistic placement.

Candy: 3/20

Reaching down father into his bag, Kwasi squatted down over the candy bowl, and began scooping fistfulls of candy into it. He was careful enough to slowly shuffle into the bushes whenever he heard someone approaching, but for whatever reason no one stopped at the house with the huge insect feelers poking out of their shrubbery.

Candy: 6/20

Realizing that his bag didn't have enough candy to fill the house's bowl to the top, Kwasi began to solicit people who passed by. He never got past "Psst, do you-" Before they would either scream and run off, or simply avoid making eye contact and walk away as fast as possible. He wasn't too startled by the screams though. That's how humans talked - from what he had seen at least.

Eventually, someone dropped their own bag in their haste to get away from the creep in the bug costume. Shrugging, he had picked it up and shuffled back to his house. Whatever worked, worked right? He was sure they'd be happy enough to know their candy was going to a good cause, aka a bunch of people who weren't them.

To Kwasi's surprise, as he was emptying the last of the candies into the bowl, a van pulled up sharply beside the house. Dropping his bag in alarm and making a slightly speedier exit than usual, he watched two humans get out of it in full haz-mat gear, carrying what looked like canisters of gas. The side of the truck had a large image of a bug with a red x over it - pretty rude in Kwasi's opinion. He hadn't realized he had been helping bug haters.

Candy: 17/20

Making a quick, scuttley, and above all stealthy getaway from the house, Kwasi returned to the teacher waiting at the gateway back to Amityville. Unable to help himself, he stopped to complain to the teacher for a few minutes over how humans were basically all jerks, then huffed off through the portal, feeling rather upset.
