The demon was trying very hard to not just try shifting back and forth between forms when exploring this new and very odd yet exciting place they called the haunted house. Supposedly it connected with the human world and if so, why they let beings like Lure, young and untrained, wander around, the personification hadn't a clue.
What it did sense however was a forboding aura. Malice, hate, hunger, Rage. Tail of their cougar shape flicking back and forth, Lure was posative that this being was looking for agression. Thankfully, Lure was just the sort to deliver. Roating when the bat swung at them.
It hurt, of very much so, but Lure was determined to put up a fight and make them hurt just as bad.
