[ORP Drabble] Investigating Mobs, Rings, and other things

With the whole ordeal revolving the two (or was it three) gangs that have been hanging around Amity and the rings they seek, there were likely some who would want to try and learn more about this or that. When it comes to these things, finding a place to start can be difficult... but there are many avenues one could take to try and learn more about what they seek...

This is an investigation drabble rp! If your character wants to try and find out more information about the rings, or the various parties involved, they can do so here. Make a post and roll 1d20 of what your character is trying to learn exactly, and how they're going about it.

Keep in mind that some methods may be better than others for certain topics, or that certain details might not have much information out there in the first place.

The Catacombs

While students were not technically supposed to wander about in the catacombs (Hollandaise thought), that did not stop her. One of the first things she had found in this school were the tunnel-y bits underneath. A dingy ring still shone on her hand from her first explorations. Hollandaise knew it was not one of those rings, but nevertheless, she headed downwards.

There could be any sort of clues as to the nature of the rings, she thought. She paused first by the spot that had held her ring - a warder never forgot - and touched the packed dirt there. Hollandaise remembered a fanciful story, a romance, and wondered where the ghoul she'd been back that had gone. There was what could have been a thin, makeshift desk against the side of the cavern, and several other spots that could hold thing. Idly, she picked at one.

There wasn't anything down there for Holly to find. At least nothing in direct relation to the rings under the gym. But perhaps, given some time, something might come to mind as she lingered in the catacombs and contemplated on the matter.

Perhaps, she thought, there was some sort of strange back way into the strange rooms! But, as soon as the thought filled her mind, she dismissed it. Pure fancy. If there had been things down here, they would have long ago been found. Nevertheless, she wandered deeper.

It wasn't a bad idea. As she traversed further into the catacombs, she may find some other long lost locations. However, none led back to the ring chambers.

Eventually, Hollandaise gave up, a little dispirited in her search. She had uncovered interesting things, but nothing of true importance. Creakily, sighing, she emerged and headed to the library. Perhaps she could find something about this rival gang within the pages of a book. She did not hold out much hope for that, however.

Unfortunately for Holly, nothing turned up. But then again, there were many, many books to sift through. Sometimes trying to find something was like seeking a needle in a haystack.
