♊ Charms NEWT - E
- Eli has always been good at charms, and while he took some effort away to work on other things, he's always been great in the course. Thus, while he didn't do his best, he still got an Exceeds Expectations.
♊ Defence Against the Dark Arts NEWT - O
- After his encounter with a dark wizard, and then the subsequent attack in Hogsmeade, Eli decided to focus a lot of effort into this class. While practicing, he found a knack for it that perhaps was more driven by self-preservation than anything else. This meant he managed to get an Outstanding on his NEWT.
♊ Herbology NEWT - A
- Eli loves weird things. The plants in this class are no exception. However, his best he could manage was an Acceptable due to the fact that he was a bit more focused on other classes than this one.
♊ Potions NEWT - A
- Eli was always good with potions, he just decided to take a back seat in that class because he didn't necessarily see it as important for him in the long run. He brewed his potion decently enough, but not well enough to get above an Acceptable.
Elective Classes:
♊ Care of Magical Creatures NEWT - O
- Eli absolutely loved learning about all of the strange and bizarre creatures in the class, and enjoyed his time in it immensely. He was easily able to get an Outstanding as a result.
♊ Ghoul and Ghost Studies NEWT - O
- Eli's perception on reality has always been skewed, and this class was right up his alley as a result. He loved learning about every creature he could, as well as the ideas about life and death that could be gleaned. He received an Outstanding as a result.
♊ Mythology NEWT - A
- Eli was always interested in the bizarre, however, he decided to take a back seat in the class. This netted him an Acceptable, which while not great, meant he passed the class.
