- Louis did not study for this exam, he thought himself intelligent enough to figure it out as he went along. Unfortunately, he panicked on several questions and lied on the written portion of his exam.

- Practical and precise with his wandwork and pronunciation, it was his impatience that resulted in him glancing over a question to choose the wrong answer which lowered his grade.
xx◆ Defense Against the Dark Arts A
- Easily able to sort through the questionnaire portion of the exam, it was the practical that he struggled with. Lacking the right gusto, or "oomph" to fend off the boggart at first, but by the third try had driven it back to the cupboard.
xx◆ Herbology A
- Only half paying attention in class, he mostly passed his question half of the exam and bumbled through the practical to just barely earn a passing grade.
xx◆ History of Magic O
- Well versed in history having read hundreds of books as a child instead of playing outdoors with other children, he was able to easily pass the exam and write an astonishingly in-depth essay about the founders.
xx◆ Potions O
- His mother had been a potions mistress once, though now retired, she had been able to offer extra guidance and tutelage during the summer months when underage magic is forbidden to practice. Having spent hours brewing and committing these potions to memory, he passed with flying colors.
xx◆ Transfigurations O
- His over analytical mind and attention to detail assisted him greatly with his transfigurations, easily able to recall the laws and principles as well as the anatomical structure of the common creatures used in transfigurations: mice, cats, and owls, which helped to earn him his outstanding grade.
xx◆ Ancient Studies E
- History, both muggle and magical, have always been a fascination to him. Easily able to recall the names and dates of notable events and figures helped to earn him such a high grade, but again, skimming through questions resulted in just enough wrong answers to negatively affect his grade.
xx◆ Divination P
- Under the impression this class would be a breeze (and now regretting the decision of this class instead of Cooking with Magic), he guessed his way through the entire exam and through sheer luck alone, did not earn a trolling grade.
xx◆ Study of Ancient Runes A
- Stories, names, and histories are easy to remember because of the events and meaning linked to them, but runes were a completely different story. He had hell trying to recall which rune meant what and if it hadn't been for his study sessions with Micah, he probably would've failed miserably.
xx◆ Wandless Magic Practice A
- While he had a solid foundation of the mechanics behind wandless magic, the practical application was a bit rusty for him. It took several tries for him to complete the series of spells for the practical portion, and just barely passed.
