- Astronomy ~ A
- Maisie never really cared much for astronomy, primarily because of the late hours. However, despite the long nights and how hard it was to even stay coherent during classes, she still did well. She always made sure to go over the material with her brother afterwards, and made sure she always clearly understood what she remembered from classes. This definitely helped with her scraping by.
Charms ~ O
- Charms was always one of Maisie's easiest classes - everything always seemed to come naturally to her, so it wasn't really a challenge to pass this OWL.
Defense Against the Dark Arts ~ EE
- 1. If she hadn't passed the class with flying colours, her mother would've killed her.
2. Her mother's the professor, she knew a lot of what they were learning through-and-through, and she was never scared to go to her mother for hope, and she always had free time whenever Maisie needed her.
Herbology ~ A
- While Herbology was never really one of her favourite classes, she wasn't terrible at it. Well, she didn't do great either. She rarely paid much attention the first few years because she didn't like the professor, so a lot of the early material was lost on her, but the more recent material got her through to a passing grade.
History of Magic ~ D
- Maisie hated this class. Hated it. Really, it's a surprise that she didn't get a T, because she rarely paid attention, and even when Dmitri tried to go over information with her, it didn't stick whatsoever.
Potions ~ EE
- Maisie never did that bad in Potions, and she always had a rather easy time remembering what steps to do (although she did reference her text book a lot in classes), and she always thought the Potions professors were rather nice, so she sort of felt a need to do well in their classes and remember certain properties of certain ingredients, etc.
Transfiguration ~ A
- While Maisie was great with remembering certain things, she wasn't so great at getting them done - she often had to do spell several times and even in practise she couldn't perfect them... It was the written portions of the test that saved her grade.

- Alchemy ~ A
- Maisie never really did terrible, she just didn't really like the class all that much. She's not really planning on taking it again, either.
Ancient Studies ~ P
- Who even knows why she took this class, she's lucky she got the grade she did.
Arithmancy ~ EE
- Maisie actually really turned out to like this class, and the enjoyment really pushed Maisie to do well in this class.
Cursebreaking ~ A
- It wasn't her favourite class, but she always did well, and she didn't mind the professor or anything.
Mythology ~ A
- The only reason Maisie did so well was because of the unbelievability of some of the things she learned in this class - she thought of it as more of a joke than anything else.
Study of Ancient Runes ~ O
- Maisie was surprised the amount she actually enjoyed this class, and she definitely enjoyed it enough that she actually studied really hard for this class, and made sure she understood everything she was doing for it.
Wandless Magic Practise ~ A
- She did well in this class mostly because she thinks it's a very useful tool in life, therefore she made sure she understood how to do the magic itself more than the mechanics behind it.
Wizard Law ~ A
- Maisie has a rather hard time remembering some things, especially when she's not particularly interested. While she took the class so she knew the basic laws of wizard society, she really didn't care too much to remember everything, which certainly hurt her on the exam.
