Herbology - Opting out, EE. Iris used a combination of spellwork and her own well-developed reflexes to get the pods from snargaluff one at a time, retreat to a safe distance to harvest each pod, and repeated this until she had harvested her full quota. While Iris was unharmed, if slightly sweaty and a bit dusty, at the end, the plant was unharmed other than a few blunted where the snargaluff slammed its own vines into the ground, and the pods were harvested neatly, Iris was rather more...active in her acquiring of the pods than traditional examiners might prefer, and the blunted thorns were a slight damage to the snargaluff, hence the slightly less than perfect score.

History of Magic - Tested

Potions - Opting out, EE. Iris was competent and steady in her brewing, creating a fine example of the potion that put Gus the pixie to sleep. Gus did not snore, but his breathing was slightly heavier than would be ideal, and Iris did not demonstrate the particular flare and confidence of a master potion maker, just the competence and exactitude of a student who had put in many hours of study and practice.

Transfiguration - Tested

Care of Magical Creatures - Opting out, EE. Iris was competent and meticulous, correctly identifying all four creatures and taking detailed notes. She did not require intervention during her interactions with either the Unicorn or the Phoenix, and did not put herself or any of the creatures in any danger or distress at any time. The phoenix seemed slightly sad when it interacted with Iris.

Healing - Opting out, EE. Iris did manage to heal all three patients, and did so competently enough to be more than acceptable, but her bedside manner was a bit cold and detached, keeping her from making it to outstanding.

Wandless - Tested
