Lawrence shrugged. "Not really looking for anything, just exploring. I have some time to kill before I have anywhere to be. You seem like you are always in a bit of a rush but I suppose time must go rather quickly for you." It felt good to have someone smaller than him to nudge with comments.

"I can't teach you here I'm afraid, I would have to bring you to where I work and I'm not sure we permit unlicensed demons to visit."

He was due back at the island in not too long he realised, checking the strange watch totem sidelong and sighing. "Of course I mention that I have time to kill without any concept of the time, it has gotten much later than I thought. Perhaps we will have to do some field surgery."

There was a flash of light and the long ghostly claws appeared on his hands. "It will be interesting to see what you are made of."

Eyes wide, he puffed out and back to the ground, backing up at he stared at what came as another arm to replace the missing. What kind of magi was that?

Was he really a reaper? What was a reaper showing his weapon to him for?!

"Are you nuts?"

"I don't know, am I?" he said, letting Butch's snarling reach a crescendo.

And he leapt forward with a swipe of long talons aimed directly at the imp.

He only could manage to throw his arms up to block his face until the swing hit him and sent him rolling back and flopping into the ground. Curled up, he stayed there a moment before unwinding himself and pushing himself up again.

"What the Jack did I do to you?"

The obliviousness of the creature was somewhat amusing but did not halt his attack. "Oh nothing." he said matter of factly, leaping forward like a curious cat. "I just want to see how your kind get hurt."

"Demons get hurt like anyone else so Jack off!" He barked before diving behind a dresser in the hallway. He needed to find an exit or else this crazy cat man was going to claw him to bits!

"What do you want? I have plenty to offer."

"Can you bleed?" he asked with a smirk. "I'd like to know if you can bleed." He leapt forward with startling speed and swiped at the demon again, catching and splintering the wood with his claws.

"What could you offer /me/?" he asked sharply. "You'd better bargain quickly."

He braced himself again, jumping back as he was pushed away. The claws were fierce and he wanted to stay clear of them, doing his best to get out of the way of his range.

"Gotta know what you want first." He called back, jumping up onto a dusty fainting couch. "No point in offering what you have."
