Right. The soul is the true person (the true "me", the true "you", the true "everyone"). The brain is simply the computer and hard drive containing the instructions for the mind (the soul's "software", if that could be a term) for use on controlling the body. Kinda like a Gundam (the soul being the Gundam pilot) or any other large mech (the soul being the pilot of the mech).
