*Points giddily to hair in sig pic.* emotion_awesome
It turned out just how I wanted it! And I even dyed it myself!
Showers are extra fun, too. It looks like I stabbed a rainbow.

So I just got a campus email saying there'll be a career fair in a month. I have never been so excited for one of those before. Why?
Because I just dyed my hair a whole lot of crazy and I plan to flaunt it loud and proud. emotion_dowant
They say employers tend to look down on crazy hair, which is exactly why I want to do this. Those employers are looking for conformists, straight-A students, engineers who imitate but don't innovate. Those are the employers who won't even give me a glance when I TRY to conform. What better way to draw the attention of those who also defy the norm than to fly my freak flag high? Who knows, maybe someone will appreciate the fact that I'm ballsy enough to trample all over their standards right in front of their faces.
I know it's a long shot, but hey. Worst case scenario? I get turned down by 20 companies I probably wouldn't have had a shot at anyway. Out of how many hundreds in the state, and how many hundreds of thousands in the country. Whoop de doo.

I love this!! It's so cute and you rock it. I love that you're flaunting "crazy" hair and showing them you can look different and still be serious and ambitious!! I don't have a genuine career myself at the moment but I love showing my employer that I mean business and showing them how much I care about the restaurant - even if I like to have pink in my hair.

Nice! You seriously pull off the colored hair look! I wish I could pull off a look like that.

It looks really nice. I'd like to dye my hair either green, or purple myself.

While I understand companies wanting to promote an aura of "professionalism," I still would like some freedom for some individualism. That's probably why I like working at the assisted living because while we do have our specific attire guidelines (depending on what section we are working in), we are still able to flaunt our individuality in some way - whether it's unique nail polish or dyed hair streaks. It just gives something for our residents to talk about with us. xd So, go you! biggrin

Looks BAMF. I like how your eyes match the top portion and your lips kinda match the bottom portion.
