I mean we were practically engaged anyway. October 1st is our 8 year anniversary.
But I got my great great grandmother's ring resized and went ahead and bought him a men's wedding band and went ahead and asked just to make it official. So yeah, already tradition is out the window because my mom is tutting and clucking about how he shouldn't be wearing his wedding band yet and I have to keep reminding her that
it's an engagement ring, not just a wedding band.
So yeah. I have my heart set on Vegas because it means
Destination wedding = Minimal guests = Less money
Vegas is JUST far enough away that most people will not attend because it requires a plane ticket. But on the flip side it's a relatively CHEAP plane ticket for me.
They plan. EVERYTHING. Like...90% of the reason we haven't married is because I don't ******** give a flying ******** about wedding planning. It seems boring, tedious and stressful.
You can have it as cheap or as costly as you want. Elegant or cheesy, they do it all. You can get married on the Pirate ship at Treasure Island casino for under 2k if you'd like.
I am thinking about Chapel of the Flowers because their
Magnolia chapel is baller and all silver and white and modern looking. The package I am looking at will be about 1k-1.5k total with plane tickets and hotel.
Also since I am cheap I am not buying anything with the word "wedding" attached to it. Like...I am seriously looking at Quinceanera dresses instead of Wedding dresses. The one I like the most is under 300 and totally looks like a wedding dress.
