Zambarau had begun to change, a change that all species go through and none were very elegant - he tried his utmost to be as smooth as possible, but it just wasn't in the books for him. Longer legs, ones that were just a touch off from his over all body size.
All this growth seemed to happen over night for the wild dog and so he decided, painful or not, he needed some exercise and not that he would admit, practice in his 'new' body. Of course on this day it seemed that everyone was out and about so he tried to remain calm.
Each step felt like a possible dive, like he'd meet the ground in a fell swoop, but he managed to remain steady, on all four and in motion. Feeling pretty proud he was beaming in every direction.

The Wood House leader was out and about today. Well, she called herself a leader, but she was the only one that had failed to procure members in her house. She was the only one that had failed in swaying anyone into her house.
No one wished to be historians, or perhaps they just felt displeased with her. Still, every other house had at least a second member. She was so disappointed in herself, she could feel it bubble in her chest, a complete failure she had been.
She bit back the feeling that tried to overflow in her chest and walked calmly along a set path to the central area of the pack. The center was a house-neutral area, though Tav normally spent all her time in her own house's area.
Perhaps, she wondered, there were younger dogs that might be inspired to join her house, if she could not get passing lone-dogs to join her journey of the past.

Destination, he hadn't really thought about it if he was being honest with himself, but he had made up his mind a couple awkward steps ago - so he headed for the neutral territory. The young adolescent was only just growing familiar with this part of the pack - it hadn't been left out of any explanations, but he hadn't made the attempt to see it for himself. So he had stayed, tucked away in the Fire House not really looking to see more than that.
Now that he was much older, or so that was how he had convinced himself, he had decided it would be an ideal time to get out there and finally see what they had talked about. So he walked, a path that actually seemed quite a bit unused.
Upon arrival he was entirely underwhelmed, but didn't let it ruin his current mood. He was out and enjoying the freedom that being a much older individual provided him. Truth of the matter was he felt fairly young still and all of those emotions were felt in need of wanting to be an adult already - in the end he felt a little silly.
"Oh my."
His words were spoken out of a sudden rush to the head that caused him to drop his rump. There had been plenty of information he had to consider and it seemed to all rush to his mind as he discovered the neutral area for his first time.

Tav's ears flicked towards a voice she didn't recognize. Though, that wouldnt be super hard since she didn't know many of the others in the other houses, especially if they didn't leave their house lands like she did. She focused her attention on the voice. It was a curious phrase uttered, and she had to see what was going on.
She sought out the owner of the voice, to see a younger dog. Obviously not one of her house, but a child of another pack member, perhaps. She sucked in a breath to calm herself - she was a leader after all.
"Is something the matter, young one?" She asked kindly.
