When you go to a Convention sometimes you come across someone that asks you a question that either makes you embarrassed or Awkward. Let us know about any awkward questions that were asked of you or you have asked someone else.

At one of my first conventions I saw a couple of people holding "Hug Me" signs and one of them came up to me wanting me to hug them. I felt a little awkward doing it when I hugged the person but It seemed like the right thing to do.

I was at Otakon Vegas this year which is held at the Planet Hollywood casino and resort. Well on Friday my boyfriend dislocated his shoulder at a lip sync contest and was sent to the hospital. Because I wasn't related to him, I wasn't allowed to sit in the ambulance with him to the hospital. My sister agreed to take me to the hospital to make sure he was ok. So I was waiting for her in front of the valet and taxi drop off when these people came up and complimented how cool my costume was. I was dressed up as Sora from Kingdom Hearts 3. Anyway they then asked me "Are you a Pokemon?" My friend who was waiting with me looked at me and we both burst out laughing. The next day I had another couple ask me the same question. But that's what happens when you have an anime convention on the strip. HAHA!

I've kind of had something happen to me like that (Okay a lot). I tend to cosplay as a lot of lesser known characters (like only a true fan would know). I have other cosplayers come up and ask if I'm x person from a popular one or a different character from the same show (Like getting confused for Chibi Italy instead of being called Hungary). I tend to walk away if I feel the person is just dumb, but answer if I feel the person just doesn't know.

I guess with you at least it's more of outside people instead of those on the inside.

Late at night, when I had only half changed to comfortable clothes. I was wearing blue pants, black shirt, black combat boots, and a fedora (when they were popular and it was for shade outside. I am whiter than Merida). Two drunk dudes wandering the con center wanted a picture/selfie, saying "are you batman? Can we get a pic?." I said sure, but I have no idea what they were thinking. At least the color scheme was right.

You never know what is going to happen at a con especially late at night.

There are plenty of crazy night stories.

One year my roommate wanted to do after-hours. 12 am she called me to come get her scared butt. She couldn't walk back by herself (Downtown Seattle is not the safest). She told me I glare down people and they stay away.

I'm under 5 ft and female. I'm not strong at all.
