The meeting had been arranged - Sadhbh had been lucky enough to come across Zjarri briefly the day before and arrange to see her today. Luck certainly seemed to be on her side and she'd roll with that for as long as luck would have her as a companion. She rolled out of her bed, a small and lightly lined portion of her den that she'd arranged neatly, Sadhbh wasn't a perfectionist if anyone were to ask her to her face but if anyone caught sight of her den it'd say otherwise. Slowly she raised herself from the cozy, cool ground into a long stretch that pushed and pulled her body in all of the right ways until a popping sound echoed on her caves walls.
When all was said and done Sadhbh felt good - the day had started off well, the sun was looming behind a blanket of clouds making the day warm, but a little windy This was okay. The meeting likely wouldn't take long, she imagined, but still ought to happen at least for her own sake. The reality was that since she was joining the band she'd like to know as much as she could, it was all homework persay. Soon she arrived, on time, to her destination that had been picked by Zjarri - the area was quiet and up on the cliffs away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The spot was ideal for if the conversation took a more private turn.
"It's a good day to die." She said, greeting the blue lioness who had already made an appearance, when Sadhbh finally got a good look at her she realized that it was likely that Zjarri had a lot on her mind, a lot on her plate and though Sadhbh wanted to ask she resolved not to. This lioness had just become her Captain after not seeing her for ages - there was no way she'd open up and the look on Zjarris face told her that the silence was a welcome change. So the purple lioness decided to leave the 'how are yours' at the door.
"Sabia`Deimos."
She stated, bringing up a reminder about why she was there which seemed to jog Zjarris mind a little and she smiled, finally.

Zjarri`fol had spread the word herself, she was pregnant - the news had been received differently amongst her family members and heck, even Sabia had responded in a negative way. The blue lioness had a lot on her mind, but still planned to follow through with her meeting that had been thoughtfully arranged ahead of schedule with Sadhbh. With the meeting in mind and time selected she had planned to arrive early which worked out, that gave her the chance to truly pull herself together enough to have the conversation which was fortunately about a completely different individual.
Soon she did hear the sounds of paws headed her direction, had the time flown that quickly? Of course it had, unless the purple lioness was early herself? Zjarri pushed aside any further thought on the matter and smile warmly towards the water that crashed gently against the side of the cliff and responded. "It's a good day to die." She said almost automatically. Then, for a moment, she had almost forgotten why the meeting had been arranged - so when Sadhbh spoke the reminder she couldn't help, but smile a little. "Of course, Sabia."
"Well, what would you like to know?" She inquired lightly, not really sure where to begin or what to tell. The crimson lioness was still secretive and even with her opening up a small amount there still wasn't much to tell. Zjarri made a mental note of this so that she could revisit the issue at a later date. "Did you want something specific?" She asked, pushing a little deeper.

The purple lioness wasn't prepared with questions although she had a general idea of what she needed to satisfy her own curiosities - whether or not the answers would change her opinion of joining was yet to be determined. "Well, to begin - how did she join?" Sadhbh asked, thinking hard on the other questions, but was happy with how this would open things up. The answer she received was fairly vague though... it seemed Zjarri didn't really know the crimson when she had joined. That was fair.
"What about those articles she wears?" Sadhbh had heard a rumor that they were previously owned by a living and breathing lioness many moons. Those were of course rumors, but they were now confirmed, it also seemed that Zjarri was finding these particular questions a little to in-depth so she moved on to more recent events. "Did she really.. do what has been done for you to become the Captain you are today?"
That was her true and final question - something that had driven her curiosity to this point. She had also wondered if the blue lioness condoned the behavior, of course if she wasn't sure then it'd be easy to assume that she didn't assume the worst of the crimson lioness currently being talked about. "Or what are your thoughts?" She figured she'd be opening a small few pages, but when the blue lioness before her took a breath she figured she might be in for a small story.

Days leading up to the point where she had begun to meet individuals that would influence her life felt as though it were a blur when she tried to piece things together. Sabia wasn't the only influential female in her life - there were plenty, including family. The other female being one that she hadn't actually interacted with recently, but she came to understand that she had fallen pregnant as well. "I honestly couldn't tell you how she joined - if I word it the way I'm thinking it'd be akin to waking up one day and her just being there, existing in my space." She said, a small smile forming.
"Ah, yes - her articles. I honestly hadn't taken the time to ask her about her adornments." Zjarri made a mental note to change that as best she could. "You could probably ask Sabia yourself, but be forewarned she's abrupt and typically doesn't like to share." The blue lioness said this with a straight face, ensuring impress upon the purple lioness that approaching the crimson lioness would be at her own risk.
Then the expected question came around - one that even Zjarri couldn't truly answer. Yes, she had her theories about the situation and had immediately gone to dark conclusions, but instead of digging deeper she accepted the previous Captains fate. Sabia had even brushed off her original approach about the situation, there was nothing to be concerned about had been the words used constantly. "That situation happened." She began, not sure how to word the answer. "The rumors don't account for many other possibilities as individuals want to readily assume the worst happened. If you choose to believe those rumors that is a choice you have to make. I trust Sabia with my life and the life of my cubs to be. She has never done anything to wrong me and so I have no reason to believe she'd do anything like those rumors suggest." There, she hadn't completely lied and yet she knew that deep down the truth was she believed the rumors.

Sadhbh got one thing out of her entire statement - ask Sabia. Of course Zjarri went a little deeper and even tried to give a broader opinion on the matter, seemingly trying to defend a right hand lion that had become a friend. The purple lioness decided that this was enough to pursue the crimson lioness and try for some further answers.
"Would you like to come and ask about her adornments?" The question appeared random, but as Sadhbh thought on it she realized that perhaps Sabia would be willing to tell the pair of them more so than some strange lioness approaching with little more to her name than to say that Zjarri had accepted her into the band - that would likely mean very little to the crimson lioness. Would she simply be considering fodder? Sadhbh tried not to dwell on that thought.
The blue lioness before her nodded an acceptance to the extended offer. Great! She might get the answers to some of her questions afterall. "Thanks Zjarri - congratulations on your pregnancy as well." She said, realizing what her companion had suggested during her grand, defensive speech.
