If she continued to stay where she was then it was absolutely true, she probably would fall ill from being wet and cold, plus… Kaelyn turned her head to look the jackal and immediately felt annoyed. What she didn’t know was that her lip was starting to twitch, showing over her marvelous fangs normally hidden.
Gritting her teeth, Kaelyn quickly moved away from the jackal and sat next to Dooley. This situation was harder to bare than any fight she ever faced. Why was it so much harder to work with others?
“Just for tonight.”
Little did Kaelyn know she’d be staying for far longer than a single night. With each passing minute the den shall called her own was swelling with water, washing away the very foundation that kept it stable. Thankfully she hadn’t taken the time preparing it with furs and other items of comfort; it would all be gone with the morning sun.
