Comments like that made her fur bristle. Creeple who think ghouls were lesser. That wasn't how it worked among her pack - no, the females ruled. They were the matriarch of the pack and they ruled fiercely. It was only her mother that tainted that. She wasn't going to fall into his goad. She knew what she was capable of and no misogynistic tail muncher was going to get one over on her.

The boil shifted during mid-lunge. Reactively, Brenna wheeled her arms into a defensive stance allowing the ghostly, finned creature get a grip on her. The ghoul went for an extended-finger jab, but curled her fingers in at the last moment for a punch instead.

She didn't know why she was having difficulty conjuring her FEAR, the blue fire forsaking her. She couldn't put distance between them because that'll get them nowhere ... and it would only make it appear as if she was fleeing. That wasn't the case. If this boil was going to fight, close, she'll meet him.

With a thrashing of the boil's tail, she used the momentum to swing out her leg to catch him opposite of the swipe. That was her specialty, to use her opponent's momentum to propel herself into her own assault. She may be small, but she was able to use it wisely.

"If you are getting tired, you can just stop here." She offered as she took the brunt of his attack and retaliated in kind. Her body moved in reaction to what was coming at her. It was the only way she could fight, by defending herself and retaliating in response.

"I won't pity someone who speaks down on me" she growled, striking outward with her right, followed quickly by a kick towards the upper part of the boil's body. She moved quickly to keep up the momentum, her senses honed in on his heart, his breathing, he was losing it. And it was a weakness she was going to exploit. "I won't pity someone who think themselves so proud to challenge me as an easy win. You are a fool if you think fighting random by-passers as a sort of accomplishment to boost your diminutive ego." Brenna continued to egg the ghost on as she assailed him with blow after blow, her hair and tail flowing as she moved.
