Meet Dr'stan
Name: Dr'stan(Drystan)
Age: 26(Aged Up)

Physical Description: At 5' 11" tall, although not one of the tallest men around, Dr'stan puts off a militaristic air. A body with lean muscles belays the strength that he posses and he is often standing with his shoulders squared back and his spine straight.
As a native to High Reaches Weyr, Dr'stan skin does not have a tan, although not pale, he blends in with the other natives of the weyr very well. His face has a rougish charm to him. He sports high cheek bones and his nose is what many call a roman nose. His eyes are an almond shape, though they are often narrowed in a look of concentration. The irises of his eyes are a honey brown with speckles of emerald green around the edges.
Personality: Noble of heart is a word that can be used to describe Dr'stan. The young man has always been one to fight for what he believes is right. He doesn't like to see those who have no way to protect themselves being taken advantage of by those with power. He has always had a heart that many considered too big, even as a young boy. He stood up and tried to take on matters that were bigger then he was. Dr'stan has lived most of his life following a code that he came up with on his own. He does his best to follow, though he does understand that some situations make it harder to do that.
Loyal to a fault, Dr'stan will lay his life on the line for anyone he has deemed worthy of such a task. The list is not long, mostly consisting of his family, close friends and High Reaches Weyr. Loyalty can be hard to gain when it comes to Dr'stan but once you have gained his loyalty it is hard to lose unless you do something that he truly finds heinous. Once you've gotten his loyalty, you will have it for life, but once you've managed to lose it, don't expect to gain it back.
Although a noble soul, Dr'stan has a very fiery passion about himself. He does not take slights against himself, Ddraigth or any one he is close to lightly and has been known to get into fights because of this. While his temper is normally controlled when it comes to normal anger, if you specifically call him out, he will not hesitate to fight to stand up for himself. He isn't a pascifist because he knows you have to fight to get to where you want to be.
Dr'stan is very critical of himself, which can at times make him have a more critical view of others. He tries to give some leeway to himself at times, but he makes sure that he doesn't tear himself down either. He just tends to have higher expectations of himself and because of this, he expects the same out of those around him. This is especially true of other metallic dragonriders.

Where Have You Been?
Twenty five turns ago a boy was born to Cayrs of Gold Gwenith and M'ddin of Bronze Iorwerth, the product of Iorweth catching Gwenith during her flight. The two dragonriders were very traditional in their views so when Drystan was born, they named him and then he was raised by the cerche, even though thread had not returned for years. Carys and M'ddin believed like many did in High Reaches, that thread would be back and as a Gold and Bronze Rider, they would not have the luxury to raise a child of their own.
Although his mother and father did not raise him, he still knew who they were and learned from them once he was older. Carys especially had found that she missed out on taking care of the babe she had given birth to so at the age of five she brought Drystan to live with her in her weyr. He spent a lot of his time running around the weyr with the other weyrbrats, doing chores they were assigned. He was mostly on his own as his mother had her duties to attend to, helping the weyrwoman. His father would come by on rest days and he taught the young boy the things that his mother deemed too dangerous for her sweet boy.
Going from a cerche child to having, at least one, doting parents, Drystan had a childhood that he enjoyed. His father taught him how to fight, how to carry himself with honor and integrity. His mother taught the young boy mathematics, reading and writing and he enjoyed sitting with her in the weyr or on the ledge, curled up with Gwenith as his mother played her violin and sang to them.
As a child of two metallic riders, Drystan always felt pressure on him. While it was not from the weyr itself and mostly from him to prove he was worthy of his parents, he pushed himself hard, especially when he entered candidacy at the age of 12. He focused more on his studies and classes then making friends, something he does regret now. He would still visit his mother and Gwenith every now and then when he had extra time.
He stood on the sands two times before he finally managed to Impress on his fifteenth turn. He had not been nervous as he stood there, or worried that he might not Impress, he had many years ahead of him to keep trying before he aged out, so it was quite a surprise when an egg near him hatched and looking out at him, with whirling eyes was a bronze dragonet. The young hatchling reached out and toughed his mind as he crawled from the shell of his egg, speaking his name and calling Drystan his. It was then that Drystan's life changed and he became Dr'stan.
The young Dragonet was a force to be reckoned with and it took all of Dr'stan's studies to help him along. The young hatchling, who had said his name was Ddraigth, was a noble and very arrogant thing, full of himself and his ability to exceed with whatever he put his mind to. Their years as weyrlings were tough as they worked to balance one another out and Dr'stan found himself often times getting frustrated with Ddraigth as the young dragon would push himself too far.
They managed to graduate and spent their time training with the rest of the dragonrider's of High Reaches. When thread returned, Dr'stan was not surprised, allowing he and Ddraigth to take to the air with the rest and protect their home and the surrounding holds.

Meet Bronze Ddraigth
Name: Ddraigth
Age: 10
Color: Bronze
Size: 46"
Physical Description: A large bronze, Ddraigth has a noble air about him. (Will finish filling out when I receive his art)
Personality: Ddraigth is a force to be reckoned with, something that Dr'stan learned at a very young age when he met his bonded. Arrogant and full of himself, Ddraigth does not believe there is anything that he cannot do. He pushes himself to excel in everything he does and proceeds to push his bonded just the same. A temper is perhaps always boiling underneath the surface of his hide, threatening to blow but Dr'stan managed to keep the dragon balanced.
Stubborn, Ddraigth will argue to make sure his way is gotten and if an argument doesn't work, he isn't afraid to get dirty and fight either. While he understand there are times when words are the best action to use, he still prefers to use his actions, feeling that they speak louder then words.
Like Dr'stan, Ddraigth is loyal, though it is a lot harder to gain his loyalty then it is of his bonded. You have to prove that you are worthy of it and it actually is harder to lose his loyalty once you've gained it. Of course, even with that loyalty he will never think to sacrifice himself or his bonded over that.
