[Auto Exam] Anepou Sah

[Aria Starstone]

Anepou slid into the House of Horrors, a disturbed look on his face. When he looked around, he found himself grateful he'd chosen his oldest, plainest clothes for this ridiculous adventure. He pondered leaving, and glowered in irritation at the now locked door. "Fine. Fine, I get it." He muttered at it, and then turned back and began to cross the room. He managed to get four feet into the ugly, Jack Forsaken room. This was when he accidentally knocked his shin into a bin full of tiny bones, causing both a great clattering of the damn things all over the floor, AND him to hop about cursing in discomfort.

He stepped over the box and turned, punting it carefully because he was so annoyed at the thing. He turned, and managed a total of two steps further into the room before he tripped. He yelled, startled, then fell into what looked like chocolate. He dragged himself out, screaming in fury. YES these were his oldest, dirtiest clothes, but he still hated being filthy, and this was filthy in a whole new way. His eyes closed for a long moment, horrified by this situation he was now in.

When he calmed down, he found himself grateful to notice he was more then halfway across the room. He strode forwards, getting JUST shy of the door that would let him out of this goddamn room. He then found himself having trouble lifting his foot. He waited, for a moment, before pulling hard to get his foot free. He tested his foot in a different spot, and swears as he discovers that his shoe is now tacky as anything.

He stormed forwards, to the door, and was about to yank it open when he manages to kick ANOTHER damned bin of bones over. He screams "WHAT KIND OF IDIOT LEAVES RANDOM BINS OF BONES LYING AROUND IN THE PATH?" He shoved it out of the way, in his irritation, and then continued storming to the door and out.

Anepou sighed, relieved by escaping the first, horrible room. He was still pissed at being filthy, and the feeling of how his shoe kept sticking every time he took a step. This was not a good day. In fact, this was a miserable, horrible, and ugly day. He took a few, slow deep breaths, then looked around. He was now in a library. Libraries were nice. They rarely ever had nasty messy things like vats of chocolate.

He allowed himself a few minutes to slowly calm himself, taking steadying deep breaths. Finally, he gave the room a deeper examination. He realized he didn't see an exit anywhere, and he began hunting, trying to find a hint. After awhile, he got annoyed at this room too. "What in jacking heck's name is with this room?" He hissed, and then something his parents had told him about ancient secret rooms that some of his ancestors supposedly had, and how they were once THE fashion, ever so traditional, and wonderful they were. He frowned, and began to carefully pull out books. The first one he pulled, he heard a small 'click', and he ducked, half expecting something to come flying out at him.

When nothing, however, assaulted him, he studied the shelves again, trying to find a hint as to what the next one might be. Finally he shrugged, and selected another book. He heard another click, and then a low creaking noise occurred. He was about to hit the deck when the door popped open. He stared, in silent shock for a long moment, then gave a delighted laugh! He'd done it. He'd found the jacking exit to this room, and he was not going to hold off. He darted forwards, running through that damn door at full tilt, laughing the whole way.

He stared around the room he was in now. It wasn't a very nice room, but then, none of them had been. He'd liked the library the best, to be honest. Finally he just explored the room, thinking quietly, trying to figure out what he needed to do. When he got to the door, he stared at the lock... And noticed some pins lying around. He didn't know what to make of this at first, and then the words lock picking popped into his head.

He was not thrilled. He did not know how to pick locks. He tried, anyways, and thoroughly failed on his first attempt.

He snarled in irritation, and picked up some more pins. He gave them a dirty look as he inserted the set into the lock and began working, carefully. Unfortunately for him, he failed even faster this time, leaving him sputtering in extreme irritation.

He was not going to give up, however. He wanted OUT of this ugly, horrible building that had made him all filthy. Once again, he failed, but he was going to keep at it, too.

He whimpered his frustration, this time. He was beginning to wonder if he was going to spend the rest of his existence in this damned room. But he wasn't going to give up, even if he spent every minute of the rest of his life trying.

"GAH MORE FAILURE." He half snarled and half shrieked, slamming his fists against the door in rage and stress.

He was close to weeping in frustration as he gathered what seemed to be the last of the pins he could find. He leaned his head on the door, eyes closed for a minute, before slowly inserting the pins into the lock. He began moving them around, just as slowly. He started to find himself in a trance, this time, as focused on the lock as he was.

As such, he started in pleased surprised when he heard a sudden click, and the locked door popped open beneath his hand. He stared at the exit, a feeling of stunned disbelief on his face, before he dragged himself out of the door. He had been about to run, and run hard, for the showers when the Jerk Under the Tree handed him his paper. He stared, eyes narrowed, then took it, without a word, and ran like the wind back to the school, straight for the showers.
