Prompt response: Yanyu was quite familiar with the ocean, having lived in it her entire life. Although her home was closer to the shore, to avoid being swept away during some of the more tumultuous storms, she had on occasion swam into the depths of the ocean to search for materials she might require. Yanyu preferred her home over the deeper parts of the ocean; but, she also knew that leaving her home allowed her to gather more information about other water based Soquili, predators, and different places to find food. She often disappeared behind water plants to observe unless she was noticed. She liked her day-to-day tasks of gathering materials, watching others, and then returning home in the evening. Yanyu disliked disruptions to her schedule, particularly moments where she had to quickly hide to avoid dangerous creatures that could easily eat her.

Prompt response: Haruk tapped a single hoof into the water. He never particularly liked getting wet, and the smell of wet horse fur was never a turn on for him, but... the view was nice. The sun always hit the water just perfect at this time of day, and the nearby locals were as pretty as ever. Beautiful kelpies sunbathing on the rocks, singing their beautiful songs... He was a sucker for pretty ladies at the shore, even if they had a habit of tricking him into the water... knowing he would flail like a turtle on his back. He closed his eyes, content to listen for now.. and enjoy the sea breeze.

Prompt response: Tansy looked at the two-legger whom inquired about her love, or hate, of the ocean. Tilting her head at an angle, she blinked her gleaming eyes twice in quick succession before bursting out with, "I love the ocean! It's so big and giant and amazing! What's not to love about it? The feel of the sand under my hooves, the smell of the salty air as the breeze whips it into my muzzle, the sound of the waves crashing- it's all so fantastic! Playing in the surf, feeling the shifting water all around, it gives a real sense of wonder too. Although, my absolute favorite thing about the ocean is its mysteriousness. What lies under all that water? Sure, there's life out in that deep blue vastness...I've seen some of the aquatic dwellers. But what else is there- way down in the dark void that even those who call the ocean home can't traverse? It's a giant unknown. A big question mark. Something that allows our minds and imaginations to create monsters or heroes where there might not be any." Her orbs glistened all the more, taking on a glint of wonderment. "A question with possibly no answer. That's what makes the ocean interesting to me and why I like it so. More so than even getting to play in the waves."

Prompt response: Gunkan looked out over the ocean with his love Nori. So many things were happening in their family. Grandchildren, six new ones, had arrived. And it was all because of the Ocean where they had met and which always called them home. Nori had tried to save him, even though he wasn't in trouble. He remembered the pale light sifting from the surface as Nori in his gallant effort to save him had instead gotten himself entangled. Of course, then he'd saved Nori from the tangle of the depths and from the moment they reached the surface they were never parted again.
Still, Nori had saved him just the same--from a life of loneliness and heartache. Nori had given him precious lives and a sense of purpose. Nori had saved him from drowning in a sea of despair and he could never explain how thankful he was for that.
Instead, he nuzzled his head close to Nori on the moonlit beach as he whispered sweet nothings into his ears.

Prompt response: Leiah-Marie had never really been much for the deep waters. It was too wild and dangerous, and for a little female like her... there was too much chance of getting hurt or becoming someone else's dinner. Not a fate she fancied. So She stuck to the shallow waters, and eventually met her mates, a few lovely land dwellers, which gave her every reason to avoid the depths like a plague. She had life, she had love. What more could a girl want?

I'm going to use my pass on this boy. I actually really love him and I've always wanted a male seathi but I had agreed to be someone's partner in the rp contest and since the contest ends so soon they will not be able to find another partner, It would not be fair to them if I accepted this boy and discredited the work they put forth on their part of the partner entry.
