[Open Class] First Aid 101 (Anepou Sah)

Anepou Sah came into the open class on First Aid, and settled into a seat to listen to Professor Cricket explain all the basic details on first aid, how to handle the various illnesses here in the world of Halloween, and other important things he might need to know. He had put the class off for some time, but recently he got to thinking about the fighting he had needed to do in that Dream World, that strange world where he had been a hunter. He might not like the idea of fighting much, because it hurt and his clothing might get torn, or worse, he might get dirty, but there was a chance he would have to do it anyways. He had done it there, and if anything like that happened again in his life, he knew he wanted to be able to take care of himself... And maybe any companions who he was fighting with.

Then came the dummies. He watched them get passed out, wondering nonsense he would be dealing with on his. When it arrived, he stared at the creepy unliving thing, and poked it once or twice. He then drew his hand back in surprise. The dummy felt HOT. Well, now he knew what he'd been given to deal with... He had gotten one of the dummies with a fever. He considered the situation, and began to 'examine' them for other signs, just in case he was missing some details, then settled back. Well. Time to get to the real work.

Anepou began to work on his dummy, his eyes focused on the thing. He found some antifebriles, some cooling pads, and a pair of cool bottled waters. He brings them back to the dummy, and begins to administer the pills, and carefully pouring the water down the throat of it. Once one of the bottles is drained, he sets it aside, and begins to put cooling pads on the dummy, gently. He sits back, and waits, then switches them out with new ones every so often. He continues to give the dummy cool water, and looks around every so often, wondering how everyone else in the class is doing.

After awhile, he runs out of water, and only has a few cooling pads left. He considers his dummy, and it seems to be doing better, at least. He waits several more minutes, and then places the last few pads on his dummy, his face blank as he did so. He positioned the last of them with even more care then he did the previous ones, hoping to get this EXACTLY RIGHT. After several minutes of fastidious and perfectionist moving of the pads, he settled back and watched as Professor Cricket comes over to examine his work.

He sits nervously, watching her examination, waiting for his grade. Her expression makes his stomach sink, because it is very clear he has NOT done well enough. Her tone, when she gives him a passing, but only, grade, and her comment about 'more supplies would help' left him feeling glad he did not fail, but ashamed he had done so poorly.
