Astronomy : A
- Julius wasn’t a fan of astronomy. It was his cousin’s interest not his. As such he didn’t care about doing overly well with regards to the subject. He only cared about passing it. Thanks to Anandi getting him to join the astronomy club and helping him study, he managed the Acceptable grade he was looking for.
Charms : E
- Julius was fairly decent at Charms so he wasn’t to worried about the exam. He had no trouble with the spells in class although his work wasn’t on the same level as his Transfiguration spells. Either way he spent time studying the material in order to do a decent job on the written exam. He then followed up with acing the practical in order to achieve Exceeding Expectations.
Herbology : A
- Julius had never been a fan of Herbology. It was plants and he didn’t like dealing with them. With Professor Hill being his head of house, he didn’t exactly want to fail it either. Neither Professor Hill nor his parents would be happy about that one. So, he studied for the written portion of the exam. It was most likely the written exam that got him his Acceptable grade as he wasn’t so comfortable with the physical work.
History of Magic : A
- Julius didn’t see history as a top priority. That doesn’t mean he didn’t bother to study for the exam. He did so just enough to pass with an Acceptable grade. Which was fine by him since he didn’t plan on continuing in the class anyway.
Arithmancy : A
- Arithmancy was interesting enough but Julius figured he wouldn’t put it to much use in the future. As such he studied enough to pass with an Acceptable grade. Even with his enjoyment of numbers he doubted he’d continue in the subject.
Ghoul and Ghost Studies : A
- Julius despite taking the class wasn’t overly interested in the study of ghosts. He wasn’t about to drop it like he did Mythology however. So, he worked to achieve an Acceptable grade and nothing more. He wasn’t going to continue in it after the exam anyway.
Study of Ancient Runes : A
- Julius liked Ancient Runes at first however it soon became just another class. He slowly began to loss interest in the subject and only did enough studying to get an Acceptable grade. Had he done more he might have been able to get a better grade.
Wandless Magic : E
- Doing magic without a wand was rather easy for Julius. He was emotionally calm on a good day and had the willingness to do well with it. With some well put in effort into a skill he knew would be useful, he easily came out with an Exceeding Expectations.
