- ■ Eve considered dropping this class altogether after her OWLs, but in the end she admitted to herself that it was probably best to continue it. She never really improved much, and didn't particularly focus any better than she had before, so her NEWT exam results were much the same as her OWL exam ones had been.
xxxDEFENSE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS ~ EExxx
- ■ Unlike Charms, Eve did put significant effort into improving in this class. That said, when it comes to incantations, her memory leaves much to be desired. She never managed to overcome her trouble keeping track of what spell went with which words, and struggled on her exam as a result. Her dedication ensured that she barely managed an EE.
xxxHERBOLOGY ~ EExxx
- ■ Eve isn't very good with plants, but for her intended line of work (once she's done being a pro quidditch player, obviously), she needs to know her stuff. So, she was very meticulous with her notes for this class, and spent as much time as she could manage studying for it. Her memory's not the best, again, but she has an easier time with Herbology than wandwork since she can remember plants by what they do in a potion.
xxxPOTIONS ~ Oxxx
- ■ This has always been Eve's best class, for obvious reasons, considering her mother and extended family. She's had pretty much every potion they studied in class memorized since before she actually started school, and a few more besides. She could probably pass this class in her sleep with one hand tied behind her back.

xxxALCHEMY ~ Axxx
- ■ While she does excellently on the potion portions of this class, wandwork is once again her downfall. Couple that with the fact that it wasn't high on her list of priorities, and Eve's performance in this lesson was somewhat mediocre. Her exam score reflects that, not that she's worried, considering she passed it.
xxxCARE OF MAGICAL CREATURES ~ EExxx
- ■ This is the elective Eve enjoys the most, partially because she rather likes the professor, and partially because she loves animals and magical creatures of any sort. While she's particularly fond of pixies and the like, due to her childhood imaginary friends, she's an equal opportunity lover of all things non-human. Her only downfall is that she can be somewhat impatient, which did result in the loss of a few points here and there on the exam.
xxxCURSEBREAKING ~ Axxx
- ■ Truth be told, Eve's not sure why she continued this lesson, except that it seemed like it might be useful down the line. She's not exactly paranoid, but enough bad things have happened to the people in her life that she'd rather be safe than sorry. Getting cursed sounds horrible, and she'd like to avoid it at all costs. She barely managed to pass the exam.
xxxGHOST AND GHOUL STUDIES ~ Axxx
- ■ While Eve rather enjoyed this lesson, it wasn't high on her list of priorities. She'd mostly taken it for fun, after all, and it wasn't something she found herself intent on pursuing later in life. So, while she liked the lesson and found the coursework interesting, she didn't devote much time to her studies in this area, and her exam score suffered for it.
