[PRP] not all is lost [ fisher + reenav

So maybe the Weyr wasn't exactly as Fisher had been first lead to believe, but the teen was still more or less sticking to her ideas that this place lacked basic.....basics. Or something of that sort, but whatever it was missing she couldn't quite put a finger on it, where she so inclined to try. Fisher wasn't, and so she spent the days in Candidate training working and lifting and basically doing whatever was asked of her. It was easy enough and she was maybe making some new friends.

Or rather, people that caused her face to brighten up a bit when she saw them. Not that they'd ever know, because maybe her happy face looked awfully similar to her 'oh boy it's lunchtime!' face. Which mean she was happy to eat. Not a lie there, and it just so happened that her stomach was rumbling right on time with the call for the meal.

Settling in (alone) at a table, Fisher prepared to eat her lunch in silence.

Reenav didn't feel like sitting with a big crowd today, there was one table available that only held one occupant so far. That was pretty good for the weyr at lunch, riders did love to eat after all. He supposed they took after there dragons that way. He swore he watched a brown rider eat an entire herdbeast once. He settled down opposite and diagnal to the girl who was already there. She was new, he had been here since birth and he occassionally tried to keep tabs on who he remembered and who had arrived during a search.

He caught her eye and nodded to her companionably. He started to eat his tubers first they were his favorite with a little butter, he sipped his klah contentedly and started reading a hide, he had always liked to read and eat it was a quirk he picked up from his blue rider mother.

Admittedly Fisher liked eating in large groups, meals back home had always been loud and rowdy and full of flying elbows, but sometimes the teen just wanted to eat alone. Meals at the Weyr were of a different sort, sometimes loud and friendly and other times just people eating to get energy to survive. It would have been nice though to eat alone for once, but that chance was blown away as someone joined her at the table.

Thankfully it seemed as though he was going to keep to his own, pulling out a hide, and Fisher felt her brows knit down. "Bad manners." The mumble came out of her mouth before she could silence it, and to prevent any further grumbles the teen shoveled a bit of her food in.
