Astronomy : A
- Gertie always enjoyed astronomy. Though all the information was a lot for her to take in. She managed to maintain her Acceptable grade in her NEWT level testing.

Defence Against the Dark Arts : E
- Gertie had never liked dealing with her boggart. Though she was able to more or less face her fear and make something funny out of it.
However, her target practice wasn’t exactly great when it came to tackling a moving dummy. As such she only managed to Exceed Expectations instead of her previous O during her OWLs.
Herbology : E
- Liking plants, Gertie didn’t mind working with them. It was the hands on stuff she was best at. As such it was no surprise that she managed an Exceeding Expectation.
It wasn’t perfect but the Hufflepuff was happy about her overall score.
Potions [✔]
Electives
Alchemy : A
- Gertie always struggled in Alchemy. Given it was a tough subject no one would be surprised. Managing at least an Acceptable grade she was happy with at least the passing grade.
Arithmancy : E
- Arithmancy wasn’t a complicated subject for Gertie. It was all the other subjects that normally brought her score down. She wasn’t about to let that happen in her NEWT level exam.
With only a few mistakes she managed to Exceed Expectations. Thus doing better then she had previously on her OWL.
Art : E
- Gertie was always good at art. She was no great artist, but she enjoyed creating things. It didn’t take much effort for her to come up with new things to draw.
Earning herself an Exceeding Expectations, the Hufflepuff was beaming over it.
Care of Magical Creatures [✔]
Muggle Studies : A
- Gertie was great with understanding muggle ways and items. However, when the practical was cleaning it wasn’t setting her up for perfection.
Sure, Gertie could clean her potions station with ease, but she wasn’t exactly a perfectionist when it came to cleaning.
Yes, she knew how to clean and with muggle cleaning supplies, but it was hardly her forte. Which landed her with an Acceptable grade overall.
Study of Ancient Runes : A
- Ancient Runes was interesting to Gertie. However, she the symbols were a lot for her to remember.
Languages weren’t her thing on a good day and thus she only managed to maintain an Acceptable grade.
