Core Classes:
♒︎ Astronomy OWL - A
- Karen was never all that interested in Astronomy. For one, it was always way too late for her to be up, and for two, she never had an interest in the stars. As a result, she only got an Acceptable.
♒︎ Charms OWL - EE
- Karen actually didn't mind Charms all that much. She found them useful and managed to get herself interested despite herself. As a result, she got an Exceeds Expectations.
♒︎ Defence Against the Dark Arts OWL - EE
- Karen had to admit that she definitely could see the need to defend herself. While she wasn't the best in the class, she did work hard in making sure she could protect herself if something went wrong. Therefore she got an Exceeds Expectations.
♒︎ Herbology OWL - A
- Karen was not that big into plants. Never had been. Add to that the fact that the first three years of the subject were taught by an arsehole for a teacher and Karen only did the bare minimum to pass. As a result, she only got an Acceptable.
♒︎ History of Magic OWL - A
- Karen found History of Magic quite boring, and wasn't all that dutiful a student. As a result, she only got an Acceptable and barely that.
♒︎ Potions OWL - A
- Karen couldn't really find any real reason why she would ever need potions. Sure, she could brew her own, but it was much easier for her to just go and buy a potion if she needed it. As a result, she only got an Acceptable.
♒︎ Transfiguration OWL - O
- Probably the only class that she found any use for in the myriad of classes she began with was Transfiguration. While she wasn't likely to actually be able to transfigure a carburetor from a rabbit, she realized she could potentially work some magic and maybe discover ways to make such transfigurations possible. With work, that was. As a result, she got an Outstanding.
Elective Classes:
♒︎ Arithmancy OWL - O
- If there was one thing that Karen really didn't like was divination in any form. Unfortunately, as a Seer, she was already naturally gifted with the subject. As Arithmancy was divination with numbers, she found herself actually good with the subject, even if she hated the divining portion of the class. As a result, she got an Outstanding.
♒︎ Divination OWL - O
- Divination was always going to come naturally to Karen, whether she wanted it to or not. That fact actually rankled her, but she wanted to learn more about the subject before discarding it outright. As a result, she managed to get an Outstanding.
♒︎ Muggle Studies OWL - O
- Karen was a mechanic through and through at the end of it all. She loved getting her hands working on some engine part or another, whether it was dismantling the cooling system or trying to fix the cylinders of a broken-down car. As such, she had a much more solid grasp of the muggle world than her father might have wanted. She got an Outstanding for her efforts in class.
