xXx Mallory Lovette's OWLs xXx
Core Classes:
♈︎ Astronomy OWL - A
- Mal was never that interested in Astronomy. She preferred to actually get a good night's sleep rather than stay up late and look at the stars. As a result, she got an Acceptable.
♈︎ Charms OWL - EE
- Charms was one of Mal's favourite classes. She actually enjoyed the creative side of charms, and loved finding new applications for different spells. As a result, she got an Exceeds Expectations.
♈︎ Defence Against the Dark Arts OWL - EE
- Ever since the attack from her father's adopted uncle on her family, Mal never did like feeling powerless. When it came to Defence Against the Dark Arts, she realized it was a way to learn how to protect herself without having to worry that her dad was going to be manipulated like he was. As a result, she studied hard and ended up with an Exceeds Expectations.
♈︎ Herbology OWL - A
- Herbology was an okay class for Mal. She neither disliked nor liked the class, and the professor never made it any easier despite it being her uncle Kenny's... Alpha? Packmate? She could never figure out which, but he was the one that ended up teaching the class. Either way, she only got an Acceptable for her exam grade.
♈︎ History of Magic OWL - A
- Mal was never really into history much. Who liked learning what a bunch of old dead people did anyway? As a result, she tended to just blank out in class and only got by with an Acceptable due to a last-minute cram session so she wouldn't have to take the class again.
♈︎ Potions OWL - EE
- Potions was actually an interesting class for Mal. She could see where someone could get creative with the things brewed in class, and often was found reading up on new potions as a result. She got an Exceeds Expectations as a result of her interest and studying.
♈︎ Transfiguration OWL - EE
- For Mal, Transfiguration was always a fun class. Her mum was exceptionally good at it, and if nothing else, she could exert a bit of creative will on the spells to make her designs for transformations unique. She got an Exceeds Expectations as a result.
Elective Classes:
♈︎ Art OWL - O
- Art was definitely Mal's best class. Between being able to express herself and the fact that she learned quite a bit from her mum when they used to do art projects together when she was younger, she never seemed to have an issue with the class itself. As a result, she managed to get an Outstanding in the exam.
♈︎ Healing Class OWL - A
- Mal took Healing mostly as an attempt to see what her bestemor actually did on a regular basis and if she actually was interested in it. While no, she was only interested enough to hopefully keep someone from dying, she however wasn't interested enough to go beyond that. As a result, she got only an Acceptable.
♈︎ Muggle Studies OWL - EE
- Mal realized easily that this was going to be a boring class. Having grown up with a muggleborn father, helped raised by muggleborn and muggle family, and dealing with muggle things since she was a child, Mal had an easy time in class, but that didn't mean her interest was there. As a result, she got an Exceeds Expectations, but isn't really interested in continue studying it.
♈︎ Music OWL - EE
- Music was always fun, at least to Mal. However that wasn't her ultimate goal in life. While she did well enough in the exam, Mal didn't see her going further than her own OWLs in the course. She got an Exceeds Expectations however, proving that if she did feel like doing so, she might have been good.
♈︎ Wandless Magic Practice Class OWL - O
- Mal of course is a McGregor, and like her father, seemed to have a natural flair for wandless magic. She could easily do a lot of tricks quite easily without a wand, and being in a class for wandless magic only helped her to refine her skills. As a result, she got an Outstanding.
