AURORA's OWLs
Core Classes
Astronomy : A
- Aurora only had an interest in astronomy because of her brother. It was far from being her best subject, but she tried to do her best anyway.
With his help during the summer and being part of the astronomy club since her first year, Aurora managed to obtain an Acceptable grade. Something she was happy for.
Charms : O
- Charms was the only core subject Aurora excelled in. The spells came naturally to her and she loved her professor.
Working hard on her studies she did rather well on her exam, coming out with an Outstanding grade in the subject.
Defence Against the Dark Arts : A
- Defence wasn’t something Aurora was very good at. She didn’t like fighting and thus didn’t like the idea of having to defend herself.
However, the Hufflepuff knew it was important. As such she tried her best to do well on her exam and luckily came out of it with an Acceptable grade.
Herbology : A
- Aurora liked Herbology despite her professor’s scary domineer. Though she was hardly the best with remembering every fact about a particular plant, she got working with them.
Despite her written exam being less then stellar her practical made up for it. Thus, landing her an Acceptable grade.
History of Magic : P
- History was probably the most boring subject in Aurora’s opinion. She hated history on a good day. As such she struggled to keep focused during class and during her studies.
Unfortunately, she didn’t manage to get more then a grade in the high sixties. Leaving her with a Poor grade, Aurora accepted her failing grade she didn’t need history anything.
Potions : E
- Aurora was surprised at how quick she caught on in potions class. She always saw it as a challenging class but managed to do well on her potions when she had the chance.
It was a surprise when she managed to Exceed Expectations on her exam.
Transfiguration : A
- Despite Aurora’s wand working well with transfiguration spells, she herself was not so great.
Her studying helped in the long run, but her written exam did nothing to help her already lacking practical. It did however keep her a float with an Acceptable grade overall.
Electives
Care of Magical Creatures : E
- Aurora enjoyed magical creatures. She loved seeing all the different creatures and working with them. Though some she found herself a bit unsure of.
The Hufflepuff was surprised when she received an Exceeding Expectations on her exam. Hard work paid off.
Healing : E
- Healing was surprisingly one of Aurora’s better subjects. Though she never did overly well with blood, she found the spells came easy.
Not to mention she had wonderful bedside manner. As such she managed to Exceed Expectations on her OWL examination.
Muggle Studies : A
- Aurora knew very little about muggle living. However, she tried her best to learn about them in a classroom setting.
Unfortunately, the lectures didn’t hold her attention and she only managed an Acceptable grade when all was said and done.
Music : O
- Aurora always loved music. She could play three different instruments and had a real artistic talent for it. It was hardly much effort for her to excel in the class.
As such it was no surprise when she came out of her OWL exam with an Outstanding grade.
Wandlore : E
- Wandlore is an art that Aurora enjoyed learning about. She studied hard and put a lot of time in to do well on her exam.
Truthfully if she wasn’t planning on being a dancer she could see herself working with wands. Coming out of her exam with Exceeding Expectations she would be continuing in the subject.
