A solemn expression was seen upon the mares dark features, but it didn't seem out of place given her outward appearance. Everything about her screamed enchantress but she was no such thing. The pale flowers seemed to illuminate a soft glow as they clung to her ink colored locks, the long tendrils sweeping past her knees as she moved slowly through the grove that her and her sister called home.
The branches of the weeping willows reached out like arms, hugging her body as she walked through them, the brightness of their green popping against her ebony frame.
Witch, they would cry, when passerby's would frequent this area. Though not in a long time now, perhaps the rumors of the twins enchanting you to a swift death had kept all at bay.
She cared not though, she only cared for one thing, the delicate flowers that she grew with great care. Dipping her horned head as she came closer to the small garden she finally allowed a smile to spread across her lips.
They were starting to bloom.
