IC leader: Two Tone
The name Dawnstar originated from the pack's first Alphas. Rising Dawn and Starlight.
The pack originally formed in the Redwoods, but due to rivaling packs and limited resources in the area, the group had migrated north to the mountains. While the resources in the lands were still low, the wolves of Dawnstar realized how the cooler climate land offered more benefits. There was no longer a need to fight amongst rival packs; instead, they would have live amongst the elements.
The pack dwindled in the early stages of development in the mountains until they learned how to live in harmony with the harsher terrain. The wolves lived in the heart of the Bluestone Mountains in peace.
Generations after the original alphas, a new male challenged for pack Alpha. After successfully earning the new title of Alpha, the male begun to change the pack's dynamics. Instead of residing in one spot the entire year, the male had begun to migrate the pack, following some of the herds towards the base of the mountain. The wolves spend half of the year in this area, and the other half in the area that the pack had originally resided. This new male also focused on bringing nightlore into the pack, creating new traditions and ideals that focused around the stars and the moon
Throughout the years, more wolves have challenged and won, but the traditions of the Dawnstar remain the same.

Fall-Spring [November-April] - Bluestone Mountain base - Lake has formed from the melted snow runoff from the Mountains.
