[DRP] Anonymous Affection (HR Edition!)

Each post is a separate thing that is unrelated to the last! Gifts of admiration to various characters left anonymously - whether they think anything of it is up to fate (and perhaps figuring which very in play character left what! Woah!)

It was a token left during the day, light enough to be carried by a very borrowed firelizard. Feelings were particularly tricky, after all and theirs were even more tricky and particular than mosts would have - could have- been. The trinket itself had caught their eye off one of the few trading carts that were available to look over within the halls of the Weyr on a regular basis.

The hairpin had been eyeballed for several sevendays before they'd finally bought it. Then it had been held onto for another as they considered just how they were going to go about it. Finally, they'd penned a very short and to the point note and sent it off with a borrowed bronze flitter to be left in Faranie's weyr - hopefully on the correct side of the divided weyr.

'I thought it suited you.'

While not exactly a crush, Veltanna had caught their eye on more than one occasion and held it for longer than most people that were simply being acknowledged as existing. But the stars simply never seemed to align just right for them to say anything to her.

So they'd set to making a nice little (mostly) accurate drawing of Moirath to send along with a short note one evening via firelizard.

'You two are very cool! I hope I can be half as cool someday too!'

It was a very earnest note - and the drawing wasn't too bad either.

Such a lovely, spirited green... He'd watched her from afar for all this time, watched as she'd grown from a lively, bouncing hatchling to a spirited, clever adult. She was always looking to help others in a tireless sort of way, and oh, his hearts had been captured.

One day, a long, perfect pinion feather from a wherry would be dropped upon her ledge--a gift that he hoped she might enjoy. He had no trinkets or baubles to offer, and, being too shy to approach her outright, he hoped to make his affections known through other means.

Of course, never introducing himself meant that she would never know who he was... but that was alright. Moirath was a enchanting creature, and he would quietly watch and pine from afar.
