- → Astronomy: O
- Out of all the core classes that Hamid had to take, Astronomy was his favourite. Not only did he find it easy, he also enjoyed it so he didn't have to study as much to get an O
→ Charms: O
- Charms came naturally to Hamid. It was another one of his easier core classes and he execelled in it, so it was no surprise that he aced the exam.
→ DADA: EE
- His final grade wasn’t the O that Hamid would have wished but he was still satisfied with his EE since he did work to get a good grade and it wasn’t his best class.
→ Herbology: A
- Plants just didn’t interest Hamid much. Sure, some of the more interesting plants were easier to learn about, but he didn’t care much about the class. He still to study but his lack of enthusiasm didn’t help him and it affected his exam performance.
→ History of Magic: A
- History of Magic was not Hamid’s favourite class. He found it confusing and the fact that he was doing alright and not failing was enough for him. He didn’t put in more effort than that and that was reflected in his OWL grade.
→ Potions: A
- Hamid was good at Potions, he wasn’t excellent but he wasn’t bad. He did study well for the exam, but despite that, much to his chagrin, he made a silly mistake during the practical exam and it cost him the EE he would have scored otherwise.
→ Transfiguration: EE
- Transfiguration was harder than Hamid liked, but despite being frustrating, he actually liked the challenge. He tried to get good grades for this class and his efforts paid off.

- → Alchemy: EE
- Alchemy wasn’t an easy class for Hamid, but just like Transfiguration, he liked the challenge and really tried to do well in the exam and he was happy with an EE.
→ Arithmancy: O
- Maths was one of Hamid’s best subjects before Hogwarts and that reflected in his Arithmancy performance. He liked the class more than he expected to and after studying for the exam, he found it easy.
→ Cursebreaking: EE
- Cursebreaking was another OWL that Hamid could have scored better if it wasn’t for a silly mistake during the practical exam, much to his frustration. It especially stung since he really enjoyed the class and this was a class he thought he was guaranteed to get an O.
→ Mythology: EE
- He wasn’t passionate about Mythology, but it was an fun class and he was never bored. The fact that he found mythology to be interesting made it much easier to study for and get good grades.
→ Wandlore Studies: A
- Hamid never quite got Wandlore Studies and the sheer amount of memorisation didn’t help. He tried to study for it but it didn’t help much.
→ Wizard Law: EE
- Hamid thought that Wizard Law sounded interesting, and he was right. It was also wasn’t easy and he swore he’d get good grades before washing his hands off of this subject. Thankfully, with quite a bit of effort, he managed to get an EE.
